I prostrate to [primordial wisdom]! Are non-existence and non-arising one or different? If one, then it is annihilation; if different, how so? Is there one cause for non-arising, or is there none? If none, then it is annihilation; if there is, then it becomes permanent. Non-existence and non-arising are not the same in what they signify; in the nature of reality, there is neither existence nor non-existence, which is called co-emergent, and what it signifies is also without duality. The various confused thoughts that appear to arise are not true in reality, therefore there is no arising. Because it is confusion, there is neither existence nor non-existence, hence the term 'non-arising' is applied to it. The cause of arising is ignorance, the apprehended and the apprehender; therefore, all arising phenomena are confused dharmas. At the very moment of arising, in reality, there is no arising. Some say that one realizes non-arising and then arising occurs. What is this arising of realization and non-arising? Does non-realization of non-arising exist or not? If it does not exist, then what is non-arising predicated upon? If it exists, then non-arising is not permanent. Therefore, the wise should say this: non-arising of realization and mind is non-arising. If realization and mind arise, then they cease. If there is something to be realized and no action, why are the Shravakas and others not realized? If one attains results through meditation, as in Dzogchen, why are the Shravakas and others not realized? If there is something to stabilize and it is stable, why are the Shravakas and others not realized? The nature of non-action is stable like the sky; stable and unstable are non-dual and stable. The meaning of unchanging, what it signifies, is stable. Some ignorant people say this: the nature of reality does not arise, but realization arises. Because arising and non-arising are separate, both should be substantial. Whose system is it that two arisings and dharma arise? Or, the nature of reality does not arise, from existence to non-existence, non-arising does not arise. If it exists, it is permanent; if it does not exist, it is annihilation. If it is inconceivable, then realization and purity, non-arising, contradict the commitment. The ignorant want to realize dharma through valid cognition. Are valid cognition and the nature of reality one or different? If different, both should be substantial. If one, then self-realization is done by valid cognition. Whatever commitment is made is contradictory. If it is neither one nor different, then it falls into neither affirming nor negating. If you say that conventional truth is nominal and not real, then are conventional truth and ultimate truth beneficial or not? If beneficial, why establish it as conventional truth? All names are conventional truth, and should be without inherent existence. In co-emergence, the object of realization and the subject of realization, because there is no agent and no action, therefore non-arising is realized. In the non-duality of all dharmas, at the time of the object of realization, there is no subject of realization. At the time of the subject of realization, there is no object of realization.

None. In the time of samsara, there is no nirvana. In the time of nirvana, there is no samsara. Delusion and non-delusion are the same as this. What is to be realized and what realizes are different. Ignorance is called non-dual self-arising. Because there is a cause for arising, there must be a cause for ceasing. That is the self-arising of delusion. When the two, what is to be realized and what realizes, arise. To call it non-dual is ignorance. After realizing through various means. To call it self-arising non-action. Some ignorant ones say this. Realization is excellent through conditions and means. The furnace of realization is a state of non-action. They say it is self-arising. Realization and the meaning of realization are different. One is self-arising, one is caused by conditions. One is non-action, one is action. Saying this, one should examine it in this way. Are those two one or different? Examine. Different, then one is matter, one is awareness. Or both become substantial. Or they are conditioned and unconditioned. Or cause and effect are contradictory. One is like realization depends on conditions. The nature of phenomena changes depending on conditions. Such and other conditions arise. After that, if one says non-conceptualization. Without realizing the nature of phenomena, there is no liberation. It is samsara, becoming annihilation. If one says that neither ultimate truth nor conventional truth can be realized. Then it becomes the nature of matter. Or like the nature of phenomena is non-action. Realization should also become non-action. Can conventional truth be realized or not? Ultimate truth cannot be realized, both ultimate truth and conventional truth are shown. Alas, reality itself is primordially free from elaboration. It does not depend on two dependencies. Delusion also has no change of delusion. Like an illusion, self-nature is pure. All transcendent dharmas are accomplished, without dependence. You should know it in this way. Thus, the secret essence of no birth, the fourteenth. Homage to the Bhagavan, the wisdom of self-awareness. One's own self-aware wisdom, and another's other-aware conceptual thought. Fools will never know. The self-awareness that exists in awareness, and the non-dual non-action self-awareness. The object of mind and the object of self-awareness. Deluded mind and bodhicitta. Desiring a mind outside of mind, and mind and mind-nature are always mixed. The self-arising of the cause of arising. Is. Like a conch itself is white, it is self-arising. Where are the agent and the action? Like water itself is wet, and so on. Do the agent and the action exist? If they exist, why is it self-wet?
