The nihilist speaks: Whose is the knowledge of no-self? What is experienced without an object? Why is experience devoid of elaboration? That fool measures the darkness, he will never be liberated. Therefore, fortunate one, look at the meaning of the five and a half uncreated. Look at the meaning of unobscured wisdom. Look at the meaning of unchanging reality. Look at the meaning of no-mind, no-object. Thus, the secret essence of the five great ones is taught, this is the eleventh. I prostrate to the Bhagavan, the nature of non-duality, free from action. Even the freedom from action is non-dual, how is it determined, what is wisdom? By what is it accomplished in the minds of others? If it can be accomplished, it is not freedom from action. If there is nothing, then cutting off is meaningless. Thus, if there is determination and knowledge, when is there no freedom from action and non-duality? Those who wish to establish it in the mind, with desire, extend the freedom from action and non-duality. If it is not established, it is bound by the confusion of conceptual thought. If asked how the bound are liberated? Conceptual thought is self-arising and self-pacifying. Because fools do not understand it in this way, in order to generate faith in those with minds, it is explained in the scriptures and secret instructions in one's own mind. Non-duality is harmless, it is self-manifestation. Therefore, know it in this way. Scripture is nature, like its own nature. Self-awareness is the great essence. Self-arising is nature, nature is nature. Non-duality is the great essence. Freedom from action is nature, freedom from action is nature. Because it is non-dual, it is the great essence. Because there is something to be done, it is separate from nature. Because there is someone to establish, it is separate from nature. Because there are those two, it is separate from the essence. The wise know that the three bodies are separate. Self-arising also has two aspects, there is arising and causing to arise, there is arising and causing to arise without. The wise know the two, samsara and nirvana. Because it is confusion, it is not true, because it is the nature of things, it is true, and so on. Why is the unarisen self-arisen? Because there is no action, it is self-arisen. If it is said that confusion is also like that, confusion has what can be known and what can know. In short, there is the self-arising of the born and the self-arising of the unborn. The born has cessation and no arising and cessation. Conceptual thought is self-arising and self-pacifying. From the two, samsara and nirvana, are imputed, other than that there is nothing. In the self-arising of the unborn, the nature of phenomena, self-arising, is wisdom. In the self-arising of the mind-born, it is called confusion, it is samsara. Conceptual thought is self-pacifying, realization.

Of wisdom, nirvana. Why is there realization without realization? Because it is meaning and truth. Seeing without seeing, knowing without knowing, thinking of mantras with true knowing. This is like snake venom; if not extracted with wisdom, it harms the body. Self-born, self-pacified, without cause or condition. Therefore, the wise and intelligent should know that one. All duality is the mind of delusion. Know your own nature; there is nothing else besides that. Thus it is said, the twelfth secret thigle of the great self-nature. Homage to the Bhagavan, the great master of the four kayas who has passed beyond. The four unmingled and complete modes are here: the abiding mode, the deluded mode, the realized mode, and the stable mode of Dzogchen. They arise as the nature of the four kayas. The measure of signs does not abandon; signs are gathered. The abiding mode abides in existence, abides in non-existence, and abides in both. Abiding without separation is great perfection. The deluded mode is the conventional of conceptual thought, self-nature realization and contrived realization, true conventional and false conventional, the three poisons of desire, anger, and ignorance, and so forth. The realized mode: there is something to be realized, there is nothing to be realized, both, neither, and non-duality. If there is something to be realized, that substance is permanent. If there is nothing to be realized, that is annihilation. If one exists and one does not, that is matter. If both exist, that is awareness. Non-duality is free from action. If one illustrates it, it is realizing the nature of phenomena. The other is realizing the characteristics of phenomena. If delusion can realize the nature of phenomena, why is there delusion itself? How is the nature of phenomena realized? If realized, how is it free from elaboration? The stable mode also has two aspects: the stability of having mind and the stability of not having mind. In short, there is stability and there is no stability, both, neither, and non-duality. The wise know to examine the measure of signs. In short, all phenomena are the delusion of the two conventionals, and the true result is not obtained. The ultimate truth has two aspects: subsequent attainment and equipoise. Equipoise is unchanging and constantly abides. Subsequent attainment is fragmented and joined to continuity. You should know it in this way. Thus, the thirteenth secret thigle of the four unmingled modes. Homage to the Bhagavan, the unborn vajra body.
