O! The certainty of Tantra is taught by Mahāyoga. The certainty of Agama is taught by Anuyoga. The certainty of Upadeśa is taught by Atiyoga. The three, Tantra, Agama, and Upadeśa, teach three vehicles: the vehicle of Nirmāṇakāya, the vehicle of Sambhogakāya, and the vehicle of Dharmakāya. The distinction of Nirmāṇakāya is taught by Mahāyoga. The introduction to Sambhogakāya is taught by Anuyoga. The la-bzla of Dharmakāya is taught by Atiyoga. The union of the three, inexpressible, is the nature of reality, abandoning activity, free from the extremes of elaboration. Abiding in the mandala of equality of all, in a state of bliss. Self-awareness is clear, free from the extreme of annihilation. Unobstructed by touch, free from the extreme of things. Without object and subject, the flow of mind ceases. The essence abides in emptiness, endowed with all qualities. Blessings arise unceasingly, like the essence of the sun. Abiding in the state of non-duality, it is seeing meaning like the sky. Thus it was said. This is the fourth chapter, explaining the three great precepts. Furthermore, Vajradhara asked: O! O! Lord of Secrets! Explaining the three great precepts with nine aspects, please explain the distinctions of the nine aspects. Thus he asked. The Lord of Secrets said: Listen, Vajradhara! In the mirror of clear Dharmatā, praising with clear wisdom, when the Lord of Secrets looked outwards, there were three ways of seeing. What are these three? Seeing the suffering of the three realms of samsara, seeing the great qualities of the Buddhas, and seeing the unchanging Nirvāṇa. These three ways of seeing are taught as the three, Tantra, Agama, and Upadeśa. The three, Tantra, Agama, and Upadeśa, have nine aspects of meaning. What are these nine? Tantra teaches as Tantra, Tantra teaches as Agama, and Tantra teaches as Upadeśa. Again, Agama has three aspects. What are these three? Agama teaches as Tantra, Agama teaches as Agama, and Agama teaches as Upadeśa. Again, Upadeśa also has three aspects. What are these three? Upadeśa teaches as Tantra, Upadeśa136 teaches as Agama, and Upadeśa teaches as Upadeśa. Vajradhara, listen! The three recesses are Mahāyoga, the three Agamas are Anu.

Is Yoga. The three instructions are Ati Yoga. If one does not understand the characteristics through the three of Sutra, Vinaya, and Abhidhamma, it is like a farmer longing for the sky. Cutting off the body and wisdom is extremely difficult, so it is said. The fifth chapter, which divides the meaning into sections. Again, Vajradhara asked: Kye! Kye! Lord of Secrets! The suffering of the three realms of samsara is endless. By what is it done and how is it confused? How do the three bodies exist in their essence? How are the three vehicles attained? Thus he asked. The Lord of Secrets said: Kye! Kye! Vajradhara, listen! How the suffering of the three realms of samsara is confused by what, and the explanation of how the essence of the three bodies is combined with the vehicle is: When the three bodies are inseparable, and one realizes one's own essence, because one has not distinguished the common and individual characteristics, one sees emptiness with emptiness, unceasing and unobstructed, and separately examines the inseparable. The power of the accumulated habitual tendencies increases, and in the three wheels, the mind moves, and by the power of the mind, the three bodies of the Buddha's pure lands are manifested. The means of combining the essence of the three bodies is that the Dharmakaya does not exist separately from the Nirmanakaya. The essence of the three bodies is complete in the Nirmanakaya. In the Sambhogakaya, the essence of the three bodies is complete. In the Dharmakaya, the essence of the three bodies is complete. Although the common essence of samsara and nirvana is not one, in the essence of each Dharmakaya, the three bodies and three times are one, without gathering or scattering. Confused awareness is like an eye disease. For example, in the sky, there is only one moon, but it is seen as two moons by a diseased eye. If one is caught by confusion, one sees it as three moons again with discrimination. Although it is seen as three moons, the appearance of reality is one. Likewise, the essence of the three bodies is also like that. To those of shallow intelligence, the three bodies appear different due to confusion, but to the superior person who meditates on this sutra and commentary, one's own three bodies are inseparable, and their essence is one. The explanation of how the three vehicles are combined is: the three sutras are combined with the Nirmanakaya, the three vinayas are combined with the Sambhogakaya, and the three instructions are combined with the Dharmakaya. If the three sutras are not combined with the Nirmanakaya, sentient beings will fall into extremism and sectarianism. The three vinayas
