Free from effort, spontaneously accomplished, Dzogchen, naturally liberated! Liberation and non-liberation, non-duality is the great adornment. For example, the king of birds, the great Garuda, Even while dwelling in the womb, it overpowers the Nagas with its splendor. Inside the egg, its wings reach their full measure. The eggshell cracks, and the outer constraints are broken by the waves. What relation is there to other birds? The great Garuda itself is at ease in the sky. Great Ati, vast and all-pervading, Even when uttering its own sound, it overpowers the nine vehicles with its splendor. In the expanse of Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra), the grounds and paths are purified and traversed, liberated. In the expanse of samsara, even if the body's bonds are not severed, The place of straying, the sheer cliff, is in the expanse of primordial purity (kadag). Without abandoning other inferior vehicles, there is no adornment. Why? Because abandoning and adopting are bound by the knot of attachment. Ati, the great expanse, is at ease in the expanse of stillness (ti la). Anu, without abandoning, Dzogchen is the adornment. Liberated without realization or non-realization, Equal without this life or the next, Vanishing without remaining aggregates, Accomplished without striving for relics, In the nature of equality, without interruption, Without abandoning the five poisons, the adornment of the expanse itself, Suffering arising as great bliss, The nine inferior vehicles are merely the cultivation of Ati. Those who dwell in places exhausted in about seven months, Those who desire to be liberated through the nine vehicles, And those who desire to thoroughly purify, abandon, and transform, What relation is there? In the great expanse, I am at ease. All ease is the expanse of the great bliss Dharmakaya. In this great expanse, there is nothing that is not pervasive. The Dharmata, the Svabhava, the Vajra Essence Body, With the power of the essence perfected in the karmic imprints, Without the bardo of birth and death, it vanishes on its own, The single awareness is inseparable from all, And without interruption, emanations arise, And without obstruction, it enters into all, The realm of the unmade, wind-riding yogis, Is not suitable for all inferior vehicles, Ati, the great expanse, is suitable for me. In the spontaneous arising of the miraculous display of the unborn, Holding onto cause and effect as signs is a deluded mind. Ati, the teaching without cause or condition, Is not suitable for those below, it is too vast, The vast expanse is suitable for me. The intention and conduct of Buddhas and sentient beings are inseparable, Holding onto samsara and nirvana as two is a deluded mind. Ati teaches non-duality, It is not suitable for others, it is the adornment of Ati. Liberated without realization or non-realization.

And, the enemy who is proud of desiring to be liberated by realization. Ati equality is shown as one, for others, it is the adornment of the Ati lineage. Without abandoning the distinction of symbolic means, words that deceive with clinging to truth in the unspeakable. Ati ultimate inseparability appears, for the lower ones, it is the adornment of the Ati lineage. Dzogchen primordial purity, for those without depth or end, saying there is no end is a realm of darkness. Ati limitless one-cut appears, for others, it is the adornment of the Ati lineage. When arising, all six realms and nine vehicles, in the Dharmadhatu, the appearance of the Dharmadhatu is an illusion, it is its adornment, free from self and the beauty of sight. The view of the yoga knot, ultimate appearance but without self-nature, mundane mere appearance of gods and goddesses, names, the nature of equality without inherent existence, clinging to gods and goddesses is the demon of supreme clinging. Both are self-arisen, both are self-liberated, without abandoning yoga, it is the adornment of the Great Perfection. The view of the Maha knot is, the supreme of means is the increasing mundane, the supreme of wisdom is the increasing ultimate, the supreme of non-duality is seen as the supreme truth. Although there are distinctions, equality is also equality, inseparable, separated from the field of action, it is the demon of partiality. Ati equality, the impartial nature of Dharma, both are self-arisen, both are self-liberated, without abandoning Maha, it is the adornment of the Great Perfection. The view of the Anu knot is, the outward appearing awareness is the realm of Samantabhadri, the inward appearing realm is the realm of Samantabhadra, it is seen as non-dual great bliss. The nature of equality between the two and suffering, non-dual great bliss, is the mind, the demon of hope. Ati the nature of Dharma without limit, both are self-arisen, both are self-liberated, without abandoning Anu, it is the adornment of the Great Perfection. When the Dzogchen Ati yoga unfolds, the entrance does not look to others, everything is one's own realm. Knowing everything as oneself, therefore the wrong path is naturally cut off. Because the wrong path is cut off, where is the cliff? The cliff itself is also the great realm of awareness, if the knot of the mind is not liberated, seeking other holy paths, like a vixen escaping from a hole, hoping for liberation, where can it be liberated? If desire, then any desire is an extreme, if believing in existence, then it is the extreme of permanence, if believing in non-existence, then it is the extreme of annihilation, the knot of permanence and annihilation.
