abides in the manner of. Thus, the Dharmakaya, which is originally pure, is immutable like the center of the sky, immovable like a mountain king, without top or bottom like the ocean, and without change like gold and silver. This is the Dharmakaya, originally pure. The essence of that is wisdom, which abides in the state of naked wisdom. Wisdom is naked, bright, and clear. Self-born wisdom arises as a light body. It is like the essence of the sun. That also, in the wisdom of the Dharmakaya, is naked without front or back. The wisdom-bodied Sugata, the wisdom body, is the supreme of bodies. The wisdom body has no flesh or blood. It abides as a precious, radiant body. The wisdom eye has no clarity or obscurity. It pervades vastness in clear, pure nakedness. The wisdom light has no inside or outside. It abides in the state of primordial clarity and nakedness. The wisdom heart has no breadth or narrowness. It abides in the state of empty, clear five wisdoms. Since that is not established as an entity, it is not permanent or enduring. It is also not vast or limited. It abides in the manner of self-existing, clear light. Because it is empty and clear, the two extremes are exhausted. It transcends the two extremes of permanence and annihilation. The appearance of the essence is that the self-existing radiance is fiery. Clear, sparkling, and beautiful, it abides in the manner of a radiant jewel. Speech is self-illuminating, meaningful speech. Sound and emptiness abide as the Dharmakaya. The heart abides in a state of non-conceptualization. There is no clinging to self or I. It does not depend on the five faculties. The mind of affliction does not arise. There is no experience of pleasure or pain. There is no appearance of consciousness. Awareness goes to the five doors. It is separated from the eight aggregates of consciousness. Afflictions do not arise. The nature of reality is pure from the beginning. It possesses the three wisdoms without obscuration: the wisdom of the essence, originally pure; the wisdom of self-existing, spontaneous fulfillment; and the three wisdoms of compassionate, self-displaying wisdom. They abide as one inseparable essence. The wisdom of the essence, originally pure, is separated from all ignorance and conceptualization. The wisdom of self-existing, spontaneous fulfillment, is separated from the interpretation of deluded words. The wisdom of compassionate, self-displaying wisdom, is that all appears as one taste in the realm of wisdom. Because wisdom abides in its own nature, it is indivisible in the manner of the three. It transcends the limits of all categories. The all-knowing, great wisdom abides as one taste. The activity of that wisdom is the five bodies and the five wisdoms, the five lights and the five realms, the five activities, and the five families.

And the five mothers, and so on. The five characteristics, thirty-five in number, are perfected on the face of one wisdom. From the expanse of the Dharmakaya, primordially arisen, From the face of the Sambhogakaya, unceasingly arisen, From the face of the Nirmanakaya, variously arisen, The gate of non-action, appearing in various ways, is perfected in essence as if acting. Moreover, this is how it abides: The essence of awareness abides as the five bodies. The essence of the five bodies is the five wisdoms, The radiance of the five wisdoms arises as five lights. The characteristic of the four is the five wisdoms, These five bodies are as follows: The single bindu is one with the body, The unchanging rays of light are two with the body, Awareness, Samantabhadra, is three with the body, Self-existing nature is four with the body, The youthful vase body is five with the body. The essence, the five wisdoms, are: Because the essence of the Dharmakaya is emptiness, it is called the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu. Because the self-radiance of emptiness is clear, it is called mirror-like wisdom. Because emptiness and clarity are non-dual, it is called the wisdom of equality. Because all qualities arise separately, it is called discriminating wisdom. Because all of these are accomplished in the four, it is called accomplishing wisdom. Its radiance arises as five lights, The Dharmakaya, unchanging, light blue, Awareness, stainless, light white, Awareness, luminous, light yellow, Awareness, blissful clarity, light red, Awareness, unceasing, light green. The appearance of these lights is: Subtle and clear, bright and radiant, Because the self-existing radiance is undiminished, Like a mirage in summer. Like stars appearing in the ocean, Not tiring to behold, possessing auspicious marks. The light of wisdom and the five colors, In the fifteen combined as one, it is called the Buddha of primordial descent. Knowing its state, it is called the Buddha as it is. Knowing its characteristics, it is called the self-existing Buddha. Knowing its way of realization, it is called the Buddha of manifest realization. Because the appearance of self-nature, arises as the body of self-nature, it is called the Buddha as it is. Because everything is accomplished in the nature, possessing the essence of the five bodies of the Buddha, transcending the extremes of permanence and annihilation, self-liberated, the stains of the four extremes cleansed, transcending all causes and conditions. Spontaneously present, liberated from all hope and fear, Primordially pure, therefore liberated from all. Without self-grasping, liberated from afflictions. Without grasping at subject and object, liberated from consciousness. Birth
