One, meditate on the incoming breath through the nose. Clearly visualize it as an aspect of bliss. Alternatively, visualize it in this way: In the heart, on a four-petaled lotus, the stamen together with the letter A (藏文:ཨ,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:阿), radiating and gathering, clearly visualize it as bliss. Until the mind is captured, focus on it. Once captured, without conceptualizing, apply it to the true meaning. Or, with whatever you prefer, a letter representing body, speech, or mind, or in Indian or Chinese script, in the forty-two distinctions, clearly visualize it in reality and fix it in your mind. If you do not let go and your mind is focused, then effortlessly, self-arisen wisdom will arise. Thus it is said. From the latter part of the Tantra of the Miscellaneous Collection Wheel, the fifth chapter, which is the chapter on holding the mind on the letter of speech, is complete. Then, again, the teacher Garab Dorje said this to the assembly including Manjushrimitra: If someone with poor intelligence and little wisdom wishes to apply themselves to the meaning of spontaneous accomplishment, the arising of the mind is uncertain. Happiness and suffering, equanimity, unfavorable conditions, virtue and vice, favorable conditions, outer and inner objects of experience, the five senses, place and time, whatever arises in the realm of the sense bases, relying on that, wisdom can arise. The ten non-virtues and the five heinous crimes, the five poisons, the three poisons, the collection of thoughts, relying on virtuous and non-virtuous objects of experience, wisdom can arise. The five objects of desire and the five ornaments, the ten virtues, the ten perfections, the four immeasurables, and the four activities, relying on objects of experience that are in accordance with the Dharma, wisdom can arise. The actions of ordinary people, in short, the eternalism and nihilism of non-Buddhists, the uncertain objects of experience of children, whatever object of experience of the three doors of body, speech, and mind, relying on whatever is suitable and whatever is desired, without letting go, prolonging it, clearly meditating, having gained stability, wisdom will arise. If samadhi is not clear and does not arise, the six common methods of secret instructions, how they arise will be explained. That is how self-arisen wisdom arises. Thus it is said. From the latter part of the Tantra of the Miscellaneous Collection Wheel, the sixth chapter, which is the chapter on focusing on the objects of the six collections, is complete. Then, again, the teacher Garab Dorje said this to the assembly including Manjushrimitra: For the yoga of meditating on signs, general faults, specific faults, sinking, excitement, effort, etc.
