This is the eighteenth chapter, which tells of severance and natural liberation. Then again, he spoke to the assembled retinue: The Buddha's merits, marks and signs, powers and fearlessness, the eighteen dharmas, are now obscured by the body. Just as a great garuda in an egg, though its wings are fully grown, cannot fly until the egg is broken. Even if a yogi realizes his own mind as the dharmakaya, great merits will not arise in this body. Therefore, through common methods of medicinal compounding, nourish your own body with herbs, pills, and essences. When the body is strong, poisons and weapons will not be able to penetrate it. After attaining accomplishment, you will be able to fly in the sky like a bird. The mind's clairvoyance and dreams will manifest. Because this body is a place, it is not the mind, but only a temporary connection, so signs will appear. But until this flesh and blood body is abandoned, it is impossible for the Buddha's great merits to arise. Furthermore, Bodhisattva Vajra, listen. Those who have attained self-benefit are also obscured by the body because of the application of methods. Just as where there is fire, there is smoke. When one's own mind is unmade and clear, all great merits will arise spontaneously. The Buddha himself also abandoned his body in the best city (Rājagṛha), what need is there to mention other beings? Therefore, the Bhagavan also became a Buddha again on the Vajra Throne, possessing marks and signs, and all great merits were naturally perfected. From the Great Perfection View, the Tantra of Profound Wisdom, the nineteenth chapter, which tells that the Buddha's merits cannot arise at this time. Then again, he spoke to the assembled retinue: When one's own mind manifests as its own nature, the great perfection of wisdom is the dharmakaya. Just as when the ocean is clear without turbidity, the image of the sky will appear unhindered. From the nature of reality, the continuous stream of enjoyment and awareness arises. From that, various emanations of the nirmanakaya manifest. Furthermore, Bodhisattva Vajra, listen with your mind. Even if water is filtered, there will be no image. Similarly, for the nature of mind, even if Samantabhadra Buddha himself searches for form, it is impossible to find the Buddha in the body of desire. The accumulation of merit cannot produce the rupakaya. Sequence.

The teacher, Buddha's form body, appears to tame each individual's preferences, but shows the way to realize the Dharmakaya through lineage. By the power of aspiration, he accomplishes the benefit of sentient beings. The Dharmakaya of the Buddha, as conceived by inferior minds, is not the true Dharmakaya. Therefore, without realizing one's own mind, even if one accumulates merit for thousands of kalpas, it is like a cause without an effect, and a Buddha with a form body will not arise as a result. Furthermore, listen, all you faithful gathered here. Just as a golden serpent experiences the five desirable qualities through its eyes, so too, the yogi realizes the Svabhavikakaya, which is the Dharmakaya. In that, through awareness, the Sambhogakaya is perfected. The Nirmanakaya manifests in various ways. Because it is difficult to conceive without karma, it is the secret body. Because wisdom and reality are one, it is manifest enlightenment. Since these five arise from the qualities of one, and because the Buddha does not need to seek to benefit beings, for sentient beings, their own mind is the Dharmakaya. From the Great Perfection Wisdom Profound Tantra, the twentieth chapter, which teaches that if one realizes the Dharmakaya, the Rupakaya will arise.", "original_tibetan": "དེ་ནས་ཀུན་རིག་སྟོན་པས་འདུས་པའི་འཁོར་རྣམས་ལ།། ཐེ་ཚོམ གེགས་ནི་བསལ་ཐབས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ།། འཁོར་འདས་སྤྱི་ཡི་མཚན་ཉིད་སེམས་ཡིན་ཏེ།། རྟོགས་ན་ཀུན་ཀྱང་ཡིན་ཕྱིར་མ་རྟོགས་མིན།། ཨ་ཏི་ཐེག་ཆེན་སྙིང་པོ་རྫོགས་པའི་ཕྱིར།། ཡོད་མེད་གང་ངེས རྟག་ཆད་སྐྱོན་ཡིན་ཕྱིར།། མ་ངེས་རྒྱུ་འབྲས་ལོག་པའི་ཁ་རྗེ་ཁ།། སངས་རྒྱས་འབྲས་བུ་མ་ཐོབ་སྙིང་རྗེའི་གནས།། དེ་ཡང་འདུས་པའི་འཁོར་ཚོགས་ཡིད་ཀྱིས་ཉོན།། འཇིག་རྟེན་པ་དང་འདས་པའི་ཆོས་རྣམས ཀུན།། གཉིས་ཀའི་གཞི་ནི་ངོ་བོ་ཆོས་སྐུར་ངེས།། ཡུལ་གྱི་སྣང་བ་མ་ངེས་སྣ་ཚོགས་པ།། བླང་དོར་མེད་ཕྱིར་ཆོས་རྣམས་ལྷུན་གྱིས་གྲུབ།། འདུས་པའི་སྙིང་པོའི་གཙོ་བོས་དོན་གསོལ་པ།། ཡུལ་ཉིད་སེམས་ལས སེམས་ཉིད་ཡུལ་ཡིན་ན།། ཡུལ་ཉིད་ཡིན་ཕྱིར་ཡུལ་ལ་སྡུག་བསྔལ་རིགས།། སེམས་ཉིད་ཡུལ་ན་རང་རིག་བེམས་པོར་ཐལ།། སྤང་སྡུད་མི་ཤེས་ཞེན་པ་སྐྱེ་བའི་བློ།། དེ་ཕྱིར་རྫོགས་ཆེན་ཆོས་སྐུ་བླ་མེད་གང།། དེ ཡང་འཁོར་གྱི་སྙིང་པོ་ཡིད་ཀྱིས་ཉོན།། ཡུལ་ཉིད་སྤང་སྡུད་ཞེན་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་སྐྱོན།། བླང་དོར་མེད་ཅིང་གཉེན་པོས་བཙལ་མི་དགོས།། དེ་ཙམ་ཉིད་ན་བསམ་གཏན་མཆོག་གི་ལམ།། དེ་ལ་གཉེན་པོ་མེད་ཕྱིར་བླ་མེ", "chinese_translation": "此后,全知导师为聚集之眷属,开示消除疑惑障碍之方法。 , "english_translation": "Thereafter, the all-knowing teacher, for the assembled retinue, taught the method to dispel doubts and obstacles. The common characteristic of samsara and nirvana is mind. If it is realized, everything is, so if it is not realized, it is not. In order to perfect the heart essence of Ati Mahayana, being or non-being is uncertain, and permanence or annihilation is a fault. Therefore, uncertain cause and effect are the perverse words of a liar. Not attaining Buddhahood is the state of compassion. Furthermore, listen with your mind, assembled retinue. The basis of all worldly and transcendental dharmas is definitely the Svabhavikakaya. The appearance of objects is uncertain and diverse. Because there is no acceptance or rejection, all dharmas are spontaneously accomplished. The chief of the assembled essence asked: If the object is mind, and mind is the object, since the object is the object, the object has all kinds of suffering. If the mind is the object, then self-awareness becomes like a stone, and the mind that does not know what to accept or reject gives rise to attachment. Therefore, the Great Perfection Dharmakaya is unsurpassed. Again, listen with your mind, the essence of the retinue. The object is the fault of acceptance, rejection, and attachment. There is no acceptance or rejection, and there is no need to seek remedies. That alone is the supreme path of meditation. Because there is no remedy for that, it is unsurpassed.
