Na. Listen with your mind, all you assembled retinue from the beginning. How much the distinctions of vehicles are renowned, And also the vows of moral discipline and inner and outer samaya, How they are taught according to the desires of the beings to be tamed. Although they are called "beings to be tamed" in mere terminology, There is not even a particle to be vowed to. If you realize the meaning of not having vows, Even if you make vows, there is no fault, like the sky. Listen, essence of the assembly, Vajrasattva. The unchanging Dharmakaya is the samaya of the mind, Acting without acceptance or rejection is the great samaya. Not abandoning one's own mind, abiding in great wisdom. Not separated from the ultimate meaning of the three times, there is no degeneration. From the Tantra of the Great Perfection, the View of the Profound Essence of Wisdom, The fifteenth chapter, which teaches the protection of vows without degeneration, is complete. Then, he spoke to the assembled retinue: If you meditate and go astray, it is because of delusion. Not realizing one's own mind, striving, Gathering the mind with the striving of external objects, For the four views of the lower vehicle, Those who do not accept the non-duality of appearance and emptiness, Each measuring with discriminating wisdom, Meditating on the meaning of the union of clarity and emptiness, For the individual who meditates on the six, All extremes of dullness and agitation, observing with mindfulness. Not knowing that view is ignorance, Those who meditate on clarity without thought and those who meditate on desire, Those who are happy without thought and have the pride of attachment, With the anger of fearing samsara and falling, Meditating by focusing on the inconceivable meaning. Even if you meditate with effort, the object does not change, Because you desire non-thought, it is clearly separated from meaning. Whatever good or bad thoughts arise, in the nature of mind, Rejecting, grasping only in a causeless way, Deliberately meditating on clarity, bliss, and non-thought is wrong. Since the reasoning of the object has been destroyed, what need is there to say? Also, essence of the assembly, listen with your mind. Just as shadows are transformed into forms, Those who meditate on the deity and the bindu of the channels as means, Because the meditator clings to the object with characteristics, Making that object in the mind, therefore it is wrong. Because the conditions cannot be overcome, it is not the Dharmakaya of the original face. Therefore, if you meditate, it is a great disease of samsara. From the Tantra of the Great Perfection, the View of the Profound Essence of Wisdom, The sixteenth chapter, which teaches going astray in meditation, is complete. Then, again, by the all-knowing teacher, Samantabhadra, To the assembled

Instructed to the venerable one: Listen attentively with joy and reverence. The great wisdom explained in the definitive meaning is like the sun rising in the sky of the ground of all, the basis of all. All things converge, and wisdom is self-illuminating. From the beginning, there is no need to search; the result is manifest enlightenment. It is the great ancestor of all Buddhas, infallible, and the Dharma body pure from the beginning. Self-born and without cessation, it is the expanse of wisdom. Without traversing the five paths, it is the supreme ground of wisdom. Since there is no focus on anything, one's own mind is the body of wisdom. Since there is no need to aspire to others, it is perfectly complete in oneself. This Dharmakaya cannot be found elsewhere, so if you want to realize it, look in your own mind. The yogi who finds the meaning in the mind realizes it. Because there is no delusion, sentient beings are free from samsara. Apart from realizing the meaning of one's own mind, there is no Buddha of happiness and bliss elsewhere. Therefore, if there is no thought in the cause, there is no result. To strive in nothingness is like rivers flowing into the ocean. Like a thirsty deer chasing mirages, thinking they are water. If you abandon the meaning of non-meditation, who will meditate? Without enlightenment, you only increase your own suffering. Therefore, listen with a vajra mind, bodhisattva. The yogi who realizes that wisdom, the essence of wisdom, ripens into a treasure of Dharma. The vastness of space is comfortable on the path of arising. The vastness of realization is comfortable on the path to Buddhahood. The vastness of mind is comfortable on the path of non-meditation. Immutable in the three times, self-awareness is the realm of view. Because all desires are perfectly complete with qualities in oneself. Cause and effect are inseparable from oneself, so it is profound. For example, fire burning in the middle of a tepid lake. Water falling from the center of the sky cannot harm it for an eon. The nature of one's own mind, self-born wisdom. Even if wandering in samsara, it is not stained by obscurations. When the light of a precious jewel appears in the sky, even the ocean itself turns into nectar. As soon as one realizes the nature of one's own mind of enlightenment, the five poisons also appear as great wisdom. From the Great Perfection, the Tantra of the Exhaustion of Wisdom, the View, the chapter on explaining the meaning of wisdom, is the seventeenth. Then, the Lord of Secrets, Vajrapani, in order to benefit the assembled retinue, before the Teacher, Samantabhadra, King of Mind, prayed with a true heart: How can one be self-liberated without abandoning the five poisons? The great qualities
