। । The example of self-awareness wisdom is like realgar and light. The example of self-arisen wisdom is like a vajra. The example of the wisdom of the insurmountable mind is like the clear manifestation of the seal of a king abiding in the law. Thus it was said. From the Great All-Illuminating Bindu, the sixth chapter, which summarizes and explains the meaning of wisdom. । । Then the Teacher again said: In all the tantras and instructions I have taught, if it is said that everything arises, it is the wisdom of the ground. If it is said to be empty of substance, it is the wisdom of the dharmadhatu. If it is said to be without cessation, it is mirror-like wisdom. If it is said to be non-dual, it is the wisdom of equality. If it is said to be unmixed and complete, and the words that separately express the clarity of the lineage, it is the wisdom of separate discernment. If it is said that there is no obstruction to anything, it is the wisdom of accomplishing activities. If it is said to be free from extremes, it is the great non-abiding wisdom. If it is said that awareness is luminous, and that it is self-aware, it is the great wisdom of awareness. If it is said to be unchanging and unconditioned, and the words like vajra are spoken, it is said to be great self-arisen wisdom. If it is said to be insurmountable, and impossible to overcome, and not overcome, then the words are pressed upon the wisdom of the insurmountable mind. Thus it was said. From the Great All-Illuminating Bindu Tantra, the seventh chapter, which explains the words that represent wisdom. । । The instruction on the undiminishing light and rays in the heart of the sun. དྷ་ཨཱ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Roman transliteration, Chinese literal meaning) ཤཱ་རཱ་རཱཏྣ་ཀ་ལ་པར་ས་ར་དྷ་དུ། (Tibetan, Devanagari, Roman transliteration, Chinese literal meaning) The Blessed One entered into the intention of the power of great compassion. Then, the Lord of Secrets, knowing his intention, asked: The Dharmakaya is one, but appears different. Please explain how the power of awareness manifests. Thus he asked. The Teacher said: Awareness is insubstantial and transparent. Emptiness and non-cessation are inseparable. There, knowing without obstruction, the five wisdoms arise spontaneously. The self-radiance of the wisdom of the dharmadhatu is a dark blue in the state of emptiness. The self-radiance of mirror-like wisdom is a white clarity in the state of non-cessation. The self-radiance of equality wisdom is a yellow clarity in the state of non-duality. The self-radiance of discriminating wisdom is a red clarity in the state of knowing. The self-radiance of accomplishing activity wisdom is a green clarity in the unobstructed space. These five manifest in the space of dharmata. It is called the manifestation of the light of wisdom.

Luminosity and wisdom appear. When not realized, they appear as the two, container and contents. For example, in a pure mirror, whatever encounters it appears due to conditions, but at the time of appearance, it is not stained. Although it is not stained, it appears as such. Similarly, in the Dharmakaya of awareness, qualities arise unceasingly in various ways. Although they arise, they remain solely in self-awareness. Remaining in oneness, there is no multiplicity. At all times and in all circumstances, it abides in the great purity of non-substantiality. Unobstructed, clear, and thoroughly transparent. The appearance of the two form bodies is also self-appearing, unceasing, and completely pure. Thus it is said. From the Great All-Illuminating Bindu, the eighth chapter, the arising of the power of awareness and the teaching of the complete purification of power. Then, the Lord of Secrets asked: Please speak the words of what is seen. The Teacher replied: In all the tantras and agamas that I have taught, whenever the word 'power' appears, it refers to this. The power of awareness is the five wisdoms, its power is the five lights, the power of the five lights is the five elements, and the power of the five elements is their individual manifestation. This is the teaching of the outer and inner. It is called the outer and inner power of the bindu. Thus it appears as capacity and strength. It arises through such appearance. It does not arise from others, but is self-arisen. Because qualities arise, it is self-arisen. Thus it appears as self-appearing. Qualities also refer to this. All arising, universal arising, and the many that arise from awareness, appear in awareness, so they appear in this way. They appear as the five bodies and the five realms. Thus they appear as heroes and heroines. Similarly, the compassionate activities appear. Likewise, various appearances manifest. It is said to be like an illusion, appearing without inherent existence, clear without conceptualization. If these appear, power appears without inherent existence. All is self-appearing and self-manifesting. Thus it is said. From the Great All-Illuminating Bindu, the ninth chapter, the teaching of the words that represent power. Then, the Lord of Secrets again asked: Teacher, you possess great compassion, what is the essence of power? What is its definition and classification? What is its example? The Teacher replied: The essence of power is unceasing. The definition of power is that it possesses the strength of arising, therefore it is power. The classification is that awareness itself appears as the two, samsara and nirvana. The example is that one sun appears as many suns.
