What is it? It is the inexpressible secret instruction. It is that which possesses definitive words and reasons. It is like a mother speaking instructions to her son. In general, the three, Sutra, Vinaya, and Abhidharma, are taught to be like a king, minister, and subjects. Thus it is said. From the Great Treatise of the All-Illuminating Bindu, the explanation of the meaning of the oral instructions, namely the forty-fourth chapter. Then, again the Lord of Secrets asked: Please speak about the stages of the ground and path of the oral instructions and the Agamas, and the Paramitas. Thus he asked. The Teacher spoke: Vajrapani, listen carefully. In the Great Perfection oral instructions, there is no ground to be cultivated, no path to be traversed, and no ten Paramitas to be practiced. However, in order to accord with the general vehicle, I will explain the stages of the ground that do not need to be cultivated, the stages of the path that do not need to be traversed, and the Paramitas that do not need to be practiced. Thus he said. Then, again the Lord of Secrets asked: Please speak about the stages of the ground that do not need to be cultivated. Thus he asked. In the one ground of the Great Perfection Dharmata, the way of perfecting qualities is counted by fifteen. Having unfolded all the essential points of the general Sutras and Agamas, through the four introductions, one sees the truth in this life. That is called the Ground of Great Joy. By the meaning of the oral instructions, doubts in the mind are dispelled. In one's own continuum, definitive wisdom arises. It is named the Immaculate Ground. The third is the Illuminating One: the mind is gathered under the power of wisdom, and by knowing it as the play of that very wisdom, one expresses the meaning completely. The fourth is the Radiating Light, which proclaims the meaning everywhere. The fifth is that the five poisons and the three poisons are naturally purified. The sixth is that the three kayas are clear in the context of the three abodes. The seventh is that it is far superior to the meaning of the eight vehicles. The eighth is that one knows without straying from one's own meaning. The ninth is that one knows that qualities are perfected in oneself. The tenth is that one knows that there is no obstruction to any dharma. The way that habitual patterns arise as realization in the abode is that when the confused appearances of the realized one cease, in the expanse of Dharmata, wisdom dawns as light. The eleventh ground is the Ground of All-Illuminating Light, abiding on the ground. At that time, because it is self-appearing, knowledge arises from within. By the power of the wisdom that arises, the body becomes clear, and from the five aggregates, the eye of Dharma arises. The Ground of the Lotus-Possessor, which does not abide in clarity. The nature of speech is the self-born six syllables. Light radiates from the tongue and becomes the Nirmanakaya. The thirteenth, in the great gathering of the wheel of letters, the Nirmanakaya leads beings.

Having accomplished the meaning, established in the fourteen Vajradhara grounds. By the one who has completely awakened in the womb of wisdom, liberating from the place of compassion and uniting each with their own ground. It is named union and liberation through the secret meaning. Peacefully passed away with the five self-arisen syllables. In the precious womb, the three bodies swirl in the expanse. For example, even though the moon in the empty sky is completely full, the moon is not visible due to the power of the sun. From the first day, thinking of it, the fifteenth day is clear, even with light. Having become complete. Just as the moon is no longer born. Even without separation from the precious womb. It could not be revealed by the power of delusion. From the first ground to the fifteenth complete. From there, ascending upwards, the nine have no trace. Twenty-one, thirty, and so on. The way of staying on the fifteenth is just a small part of the quality. Those who know how to calculate below can directly decide. Seeing without obstruction, looking upwards. Without any conceptualization, knowing clearly. Thus it was said. From the Great All-Illuminating Thigle, the summary of asking about the ground and the Paramitas, and the five paths, and the actual teaching of the order of the grounds, is the fifty-seventh chapter. Then again, the Lord of Secrets asked: O! O! Bhagavan Vajradhara, please speak about the meaning of the ground. Thus he asked. The Teacher replied: Vajradhara, listen well! I will explain the essence, definition, classification, and the collection into a suitable example. O son of lineage! The essence of the meaning of the ground is the unchanging nature. The essence of high and low is the size of wisdom and compassion. The classification of the ground is the mundane ground and the supramundane ground. There are two kinds of transcendent grounds: the Great Vehicle ground and the Small Vehicle ground. The Great Vehicle ground has common and special grounds. The special one is shown here. The definition is that it is a ground because it does not change. It is a ground because it abides. The example is like the throne of a stupa that is unmixed and complete. Thus it was said. From the Great All-Illuminating Thigle, the teaching of the meaning of the ground is the fifty-sixth chapter. Then again, the Lord of Secrets asked: O! O! Bhagavan Vajradhara, how is the order of the path in the realm where there is no going or entering? Thus he asked. The Teacher replied: Holder of the Vajra, listen well! The great sickness of those who enter the path where there is no path.
