Ga, wisdom arises unceasingly. Because it arises from the realm of wisdom, the realm and wisdom become non-dual. Non-dual wisdom is an offering. At the place of the perfectly adorned Vajradhara, the forty-two father and mother deities emanate, relishing in the state of the five wisdoms, Unceasing non-duality is an offering. The offerings of the Nirmanakaya are fivefold, the offering substances being form, sound, smell, taste, and touch. Taken by five Bodhisattva youths, they dissolve non-dually into the state of awareness. Like the confluence of the ocean and rivers, the stream of offerings is never interrupted. Thus it was said. Then yoga was also taught: The three bodies being inseparable and unmingled is the yoga that is devoted to meaning. Realize that great yoga transcends meditation. Without effort in the meaning of realization, remaining in the state of great self-radiance is the great lord of yoga, transcending effort. That meaning abiding in oneself is the unsurpassed yoga. The essence of yogis is also the non-dual intention. The definition of yogis is the wealth of non-duality of mind and object, and because the three bodies become inseparable, it is called wealth. If divided, there are two types. I will explain in terms of name and meaning. The yoga of meaning is as shown above. Thus it was said. From "The Great All-Illuminating Bindu," the eighty-eighth chapter, which teaches offering and yoga. Then, the Lord of Secrets asked: How are mantras and mudras? Thus he asked. The Teacher replied: Vajra-holder, listen well! First, I will explain the meaning of mantra. Because it is supreme, it is the meaning of mantra. I will explain the essence, definition, and distinctions. There are three distinctions: secret mantra, knowledge mantra, and dharani mantra. The essence of secret mantras is taught as the two, wisdom and compassion. The essence of knowledge mantras is wisdom and primordial awareness. The essence of dharani mantras is wisdom and samadhi. The definition of the three mantras is that they are spoken to protect wisdom. The activities of the three mantras are to eliminate the habitual tendencies of the ground and to eliminate ignorance and wrong thoughts. They are to eliminate the habitual tendencies that arise in the present. Thus it was said. The Teacher also taught about mudras: The essence of the great mudra is the unchanging nature. The definition of the great mudra is...

Because of transcendence, it is a mudra. The classification is the collection of inner and outer. There are four mudras and five roots. Here, they are summarized and shown as four. Being separate from Dharma is the Dharmakaya. It is said to be the Great Mudra. Self-aware wisdom arises from the Dharmadhatu. Because the Dharmadhatu itself possesses awareness, the non-duality of Dharmadhatu and wisdom is said to be the Samaya Mudra. Self-arising wisdom is uninterrupted; because of clarity, it is the Dharma Mudra. The two bodies of compassion are uninterrupted; because non-conceptual compassion accomplishes benefit, it is shown as the Karma Mudra. The analogy for mudra is space, just as when a king affixes his seal, it cannot be transcended. It is not a secret mantra; wisdom is uninterrupted. It is not a mudra; compassion is uninterrupted. Thus it is said. In the Great Treatise of All-Illuminating Bindu, the teaching on mantra and mudra is the forty-ninth chapter. Then, again, the Lord of Secrets asked: How are approach and accomplishment done? The Teacher replied: Vajrapani, well done! The view is self-aware wisdom, which is determined by four recognitions. Experience your own nature. This is shown as the meaning of approach. Abiding on the path is near approach. When the path is liberated, it is accomplishment. When the fruit of the path is perfected, it becomes great accomplishment. Do not recite secret mantras; abide in the meaning. Do not contemplate mudras; do not generate; spontaneously accomplish. Thus it is said. In the Great Treatise of All-Illuminating Bindu, the chapter showing the two, approach and accomplishment, is the seventieth chapter. Then, again, the Lord of Secrets asked: "Kye! Kye! Bhagavan Vajradhara, the great teachings spoken from your mouth, please explain the methods of teaching." Thus he asked. The Teacher replied: Vajradhara, well done! I will explain the greatness of the teachings. Because it does not rely on teachings other than those spoken from the Teacher's mouth, therefore, there is great faith in the teachings. From the Teacher's mind being completely pure, initially without cause, intermediately without condition, and ultimately unchanging. Because it is unchanging, the teaching of the unchanging sky is the greatest. Because faults are exhausted, false words are not spoken; because there is no cause, it is the truth spoken from the mouth. The Teacher is the nature of wisdom; the words and meanings are well combined, not transcending suchness; therefore, it is great because of faith in the teachings. I, from all the retinue...
