It is said. If the words of the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment appear, it is said to be the view of Yoga Yoga. Forty-two, fifty-eight, etc., are said to be the view of Maha Yoga. If the words of uncreated perfection appear, as well as the words of space and wisdom, it is said to be the view of Anu Yoga. Words that transcend effort and searching, as well as self-arisen wisdom words, and spontaneously accomplished enlightenment, etc., all of these are said to be the view of Dzogchen. This is just a brief summary. Thus it is said. From the Great Treatise of the All-Illuminating Bindu, the explanation of the meaning of view, together with symbolic words, is taught, which is the forty-sixth chapter. Then, again, the Lord of Secrets asked: Kye Kye, Blessed Vajradhara, please explain the meaning of distinguishing thought and meditation. Thus he asked. The Teacher replied: Vajra Holder, listen carefully! The words of essence, definition, division, and analogy are taught. The essence is to abide in one-pointedness. The definition of meditation has four aspects: meditating on the meaning, meditating without distraction, meditating without separation, being accustomed and familiar, and not straying. The divisions are taught as two types: with signs and without signs. There are also two types of signlessness: the great effortless meditation method and meditating without effortlessness. It is the same for those with signs. In short, there are two types: generation and completion. There are four examples that represent meditation: like pressing down on a lamp post, like mixing water and milk, like a jewel desiring water, and like a lamp in a vase. Kye Kye, Lord of Secrets, be sure to listen! Where does the word "thought" come from? Meditation, contemplation, samadhi, and without distraction, without straying, without separation, abiding, habit, and familiarity, where do these come from? It is said that they come from the combination of calling sounds. Thus it is said. From the Great Treatise of the All-Illuminating Bindu, the meaning of meditation, together with symbols, is briefly taught, which is the forty-seventh chapter. Then, again, the Lord of Secrets asked: Kye Kye, Blessed Vajradhara, please explain the meaning of no meditation. Thus he asked. The Teacher replied: Vajra Holder, listen carefully! The words of essence, definition, division, and analogy of no meditation are taught. The es

Oh, self-awareness, never ceasing. Because of non-mentation, it is the definitive word of non-meditation. Because of not abiding, and because there is no need to do anything. The distinctions of non-meditation are of two kinds: Non-meditation with characteristics, Non-meditation without characteristics. Each one also shows two: Non-meditation in nature, Non-meditation through realization. The example of non-meditation, never ceasing, is shown like a river. Without separating from the meaning of non-meditation, Like a bee clinging to a flower's pistil. Non-meditation, naturally manifests, Manifestation is like the essence of the sun. Hey! Secret Lord, please ascertain and remember! From all the tantras and agamas I have taught, the words such as "non-meditation," and the words such as "no need to abide," and the words such as "cannot be accomplished," and the words such as "inseparable and uncombined," and "essence" and "nature, the great sovereign," and "originally inseparable and uncombined," and "transcending all actions and seeking," and "the path cannot be traversed," and "awakening, manifest enlightenment," and "self-arisen great wisdom," and "spontaneously accomplished, primordially enlightened," and "no need to make an effort," and "separated from the object of focus," and "abiding in the meaning of non-meditation," and all the words such as "cannot be meditated upon," are combined in a calling manner, understand as I have shown here! Thus he spoke. From the Great All-Illuminating Bindu, the explanation of the meaning of non-meditation, together with the words spoken, is summarized and shown, which is the forty-eighth chapter. Then, the Lord of Secrets asked again: Hey! Hey! Bhagavan, skilled in means! Please speak about the meaning of conduct! Thus he asked. The Teacher spoke: Lord of Secrets, listen well! The nature, definitive word, distinctions, examples, and eight words of conduct, I will explain. The nature of conduct is: conduct is uninterrupted, bringing benefit and wealth. The definitive word of conduct is: it engages and enjoys in accordance with each meaning. There are two distinctions: conduct with acceptance and rejection, and conduct without acceptance and rejection. The example is like a dancer who transforms into various forms. Like the skillful operation of a craftsman's hands. Hey! Secret Lord, from all the tantras and agamas I have taught, the words of conduct and activity, and action and behavior, and
