Without elaboration, self-appearing, beyond thought, is great! The letters of self-born nature, like the spreading of individual limbs, see the pure truth. When the nature of reality appears as an object, do not let it be destroyed by the wind of conceptual thoughts. Rely on self-appearance as a friend, do not let other-born appearances change dependently. The Middle Way of emptiness and non-emptiness is separate from the two entities of existence and non-existence. It is not the emptiness of ignorance, but is with the light of the five self-aware bodies. The sign that guides the unchanging path appearance dwells in the hearts of all sentient beings. More secret than secrets, it reveals the hidden as manifest. It is said to be so with great intention. Not attached to means, wisdom cuts the heavy rope. Not dwelling on the cause, the result is self-appearing. The demeanor without thought appears manifestly. It is not decreasing, where is there increasing? It transcends the realm of knowledge and accomplishes meaning. Then, the assembled gatherings asked Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra) the Father about the meaning: "Alas, alas, Kuntuzangpo, Lord of Lions, the very intention of the Buddha, please reveal it to the assembled gatherings." Then, the Victorious One, in the form of a lion, spoke to the assembled gatherings: "Ema! Sons of the five families of the Victorious Ones, listen to the definitive meaning of the expanse of wisdom. The expanse of the ocean of Buddha's wisdom, the charnel ground of unchanging wisdom, the meaning of completion in the self-aware heart, I will explain well. O, assembled circle of beings, if you wish to see the appearance of the Dharmakaya, look at the pristine, pure crystal body. If you wish to enter the body of clear light and bliss, look at the two lamps of pure grasping and being grasped. If you wish to see the Dharmakaya, self-appearing, without bias, look at the expanse of space, free from coarse and fine. If you wish to see the nature of reality, free from the extremes of thought, look at the clear, stainless mirror mandala. If you wish to see the spontaneously perfect realm, look at the seed that causes growth in the grain. If you wish to see the essence of the nature of reality, primordially pure, look at the water-moon mandala that meets with conditions. I, Kuntuzangpo, the lion, free from arising and ceasing, speak words and letters that represent the Dharmakaya. Words and letters cannot show the Dharmakaya. If you cling to words, it is the path of the yogi's thoughts. After words thoroughly dispel the doubts of the mind, do not dwell on words, but send them to their own meaning. This nature of reality, without clinging, is devoid of substance, Buddha.

The ultimate intention of the Buddhas is, Distinct understanding and the path of symbolic words, The Dharma-nature of no action and no seeking is liberated in its own place. All-pervading Dharma-nature, its own nature enters the realm, Purity and impurity, the Dharma-nature cannot be altered. The original abiding meaning beyond one and two, In its own state, pervaded by a single bindu. With timeless realization, Samadhi is clear without distraction, Without beginning or end, the Dharma-nature is free from names. Not changing, directly pervading all, Not created, spontaneously accomplished. In the appearance of no object of grasping, Not conceptual thought, spontaneously arising and radiating. Without an object, oneself transcends the ground, The ground of entry and the path cannot be altered. Dharma-nature, self-appearance, self-characteristic, like a lion, The Dharmakaya without arising thoughts pervades the sky. Without attachment, where is conceptual thought? The spontaneously accomplished Dharma-nature is uninterrupted. The grasped object and self-awareness are completely pure, Alas! In the true blissful body, appearance is complete. Ema! By expressing the meaning of one Dharmakaya, The two bodies of one's own illusion appear. Not created, but self-born and complete, Without going or coming, the only one. The body without action, seeking, grasping, or holding, Emptiness without object, in the sky, Self-awareness, clear and pure, examined as essence. In the Dharma-nature where the mind does not move, The beautiful rays of wisdom radiate. The Dharma-nature without appearance, The two extremes of conduct are completely clear. In the essence of self-born awareness, Not stained by the object of characteristics. In complete purity, without stain or flaw, Samantabhadra without attachment. Clarity unceasing, without grasping, Ati empty and not empty, Center and edge are not distinguished. If practiced with the force of habit, One's own suchness is completely clear, Like a precious jewel, Using the inexhaustible qualities as treasure. From beginningless time, Now the appearances of wisdom, I have shown that there is no other. Cut off the imputation of being or not being, With intellect, one cannot find the meaning of the other shore, For one's own meaning, there is no intellect. Without grasping as me or mine, Without dividing object and senses, Without the cause of straying, obscuration, or falling, In self-appearance itself, it cannot be altered. The five elements themselves are Buddha, The five wisdoms themselves enjoy the sphere. From the Dharmakaya of all arising, Dissolving into the vast, boundless state of no object. Without imposition or alteration.
