If you do not know the four ways of giving, you will not be able to apply the samaya substances to the real meaning. If you do not know the four substances of empowerment, you will not be able to symbolize the wisdom of rigpa. If you do not know the four places of empowerment, you will not be able to apply the degree of realization to the real meaning. If you do not know the four times, the material empowerments etc. will become meaningless. If you do not know the outer and inner four empowerments, you will not be able to show the reality of wisdom. If you do not know the four signs of attainment, you will lose faith in the ultimate meaning. If you do not know the four bardos, you will not be able to master the power of rigpa. If you do not know the four realities, the symbolic metaphors will become meaningless. If you do not know the four mandalas, the material empowerment will become meaningless. Through the gate of four thousand myriads of vehicles, one cannot reveal the secret wisdom. Therefore, to reveal self-appearance, the Buddhas spoke of this secret vehicle. Bhagavan Padma Heruka, listen to the definitive empowerments of secrecy. Ema, how utterly wondrous! Ah Hum (Tibetan: ཨ་ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अःहूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: ah hum, Literal Chinese meaning: Ah Hum) all mandalas are gathered. Showing the outer signs of secrecy, the complete manifestation is seeing one's own body. The mandala of awareness-wisdom, dwells in the body in four forms, therefore here too it is shown as four. From the reasoning of secret mantra means, the mandala is shown to symbolize one's own body. Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Romanization: om, Literal Chinese meaning: Om) truly possesses the nature of A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A), that is, showing both A and A, it is taught to meditate on the wheel of letters. If the letters of conceptual thought are gathered into Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hum, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum), the letter of awareness-wisdom will abide in Hum. In the time of purity, the letter is the nature of A. In the time of arising, the letter arises from Om. The nature of awareness abides thus, in the time of abiding, the letter arises from Phat (Tibetan: ཕཊ, Sanskrit Devanagari: फट, Sanskrit Romanization: phat, Literal Chinese meaning: Phat). In the time of appearance, the letter arises from Svaha (Tibetan: སྭཱ, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्वा, Sanskrit Romanization: svā, Literal Chinese meaning: Svaha). In the time of knowing, the letter abides in Ha. The awareness Dharmakaya is utterly free from conditions, if one seeks the nature of awareness, it cannot be found. The nature of mind wanders everywhere in various forms, the nature of name is emptiness, because various names are established. The nature of sound is separate from various names, the nature of mantra transcends the realm of recitation, the nature of dharma is primordially free from accomplishment, the nature of body is primordially pure, the nature of wisdom is primordially free from the extremes of thought, the nature of light is primordially without end, the nature of words is primordially without expression, free from the extremes of self and other appearances. The inexhaustible jewel wish-fulfilling gem, although it has no value, yet because various enjoyments appear, like eliminating the suffering of poverty for sentient beings, self-arisen wisdom with various qualities, eliminates all ignorance and afflictions. Emaho! The empowerment of complete Buddha wisdom, obtains the great empowerment of immutability. By the one who truly possesses the complete empowerment, the power empowerment of primordial spontaneity is obtained.
