Ah, you too! Are said to be the essence of self-originated Dharma. In the awareness without contraction or expansion, Clear is the samadhi without arising or ceasing. Wisdom without arising or entering dawns. Now listen again, Vajrasattva! Seek the primordial with what is originally so. Abide with nowhere to go. Loosen awareness with nowhere to stray. The clear and non-conceptual Dharmakaya, Is seized by the confidence of certainty. Clear knowing awareness is the mind of the Buddhas. Now listen again to the essence of gathering! Of the clear definitive meaning endowed with transmission, Do not give up on this self-illumination. Discriminating awareness is the power of one's own state. Knowing that, it is called without straying. Now listen again to the essence of gathering! If you do not conceptualize the objects of the six realms, The six realms will not be born and wander. Therefore, in non-conceptual awareness, Abide constantly with unwavering faith. On the ground of ordinary awareness, The intention of all the Victorious Ones is gathered. For that meaning, the definitive prophecy, Is equal in intention to all the Buddhas. Now listen again, Vajrasattva! Wisdom that arises naturally from within, Is not produced by speculation, But is produced by teaching the instructions. Therefore, cherish this word of the Lama. For self-originated essence, Bodhi, There is not even the name of effort. Samsara, which should be done and must be done, is not prophesied. Mind offers the Dharmakaya to you. Now listen again to the essence of the retinue! Do not divide the parts of space. Without deceiving truth with falsehood, Without corrupting the Dharma by speaking many words, Few in words but condensed in meaning. Through instructions endowed with transmission and without error, For the disciple who has faith and confidence, It is called the instructions striking home. Now listen again, Vajrasattva! Do not add to the qualities of the Buddha. Do not denigrate the faults of sentient beings. Do not be attached to objects without cultivation. The Dharmakaya without addition, denigration, or attachment, Through the instructions that are constantly inseparable, Therefore, cherish the word endowed with transmission. Now listen again to the essence of gathering! Do not diminish the qualities of the wise. Do not grasp onto the dharmas of samsara. Do not be strongly attached to the objects of appearance. Do not be too clever with worldly dharmas. Do not belittle the word of the Victorious Ones. Do not compete with the teachers. Do not respect hypocrites. Without instructions, do not teach the Dharma. The Great Perfection, the gathering of all definitive meanings. From the Tantra of Wisdom Equal to Space, The teaching of the particularly excellent instructions, Vajrasattva, Was shown to be struck by prophecy.

This is the one hundred and twenty-fourth chapter. The thirty-fifth chapter, which summarizes the teachings. Then, Vajrasattva, in order to benefit the assembled sangha, requested this important meaning from Kuntuzangpo, the King of Mind: Please explain the signs and results of subduing the illusions of demons that obstruct yoga. After hearing this request, Kuntuzangpo, the King, said: The root of all Dharmas is Bodhicitta, realizing it is the sign of subduing. I, the teacher Kuntuzangpo, will explain, listen well and keep it in mind. When the light of appearance arises for a yogi, just as one knows that a rainbow has no essence, the wisdom that considers it to be real will not arise. The demon of light is the sign of subduing. When a noble yogi who understands the meaning hears any kind of sound, because they know that the sound is illusory and unreal, they cut off the clinging mind that follows it, the demon of sound is the sign of subduing. When a yogi sees a terrifying image, just as one knows that a bubble has no substance, they realize that there is no place of terror on the ground, the demon of form is the sign of subduing. When a yogi encounters a deceptive lie, just as one knows that a dream is false, because they do not consider it to be true, the demon of deception is the sign of subduing. Now listen again, Vajrasattva, when a yogi's mind is distracted by remembering external objects, just as one blesses poison with a mantra, because they know that there is no following of before and after, the demon of non-conceptualization is the sign of subduing. When the awareness of a yogi scatters, just as the sun shines on hail, because they remember self-arisen self-liberation, the immovable demon is the sign of subduing. When the clarity of a yogi becomes dull, just as one puts precious camphor into a container, they know that the clarity of Dharmata naturally dissolves, the demon of clarity is the sign of subduing. When a practitioner is drowsy and has no bliss, just as one ignores the number of sparrows, they know the great bliss without drowsiness, the demon of craving for bliss is the sign of subduing. Now listen again to the essence of the assembly, in order to know that there is no increase or decrease in view and practice, the demon itself is self-arisen wisdom, understanding the meaning is said to be the sign of Buddhahood. In the tantra of the Great Perfection, the collection of all definitive meanings, equal to the wisdom of space, the one hundred and twenty-fifth chapter, which explains the signs of subduing the demons of view and practice. Then he spoke to the retinue: Conduct
