Is the fruit of. Since there is no attachment to any of the Dharma of Samsara and Nirvana, and one possesses unwavering realization, there is no obscuration of offerings for that one. That too is the fruit of certainty. Because one has faith in the definitive words spoken by the true Buddhas, there is no obscuration of doubt for that one. That too is the fruit of certainty. Now, listen to the essence of the gathering. If you understand the meaning without error or obscuration, your intention is the same as that of the Victorious Ones. Therefore, the Dharmakaya is the present moment itself. That is what is called "Buddha." From the Tantra of the Equality with the Wisdom Sky, which gathers all the definitive meanings of the Great Perfection, the chapter that teaches the practice of the fruit without obscurations, the one hundred and seventieth chapter. The thirty-fourth chapter, which is taught in summary. Then, Vajrasattva, in order to benefit the assembled gathering, requested the all-knowing teacher, the Lord of Dharma, with these words of definitive intention: "The Buddha who did not arise from the mind, and the fruit that did not arise from causes, and the instructions that were not taught by scripture, and the particularly excellent instructions, please explain them, all-knowing teacher." Having heard the meaning of that request, the all-knowing teacher replied, "I will explain to you well the particularly excellent of the four certainties. Hold them in your mind and be certain of them." Now, listen again, Vajrasattva. The Buddha who did not arise from the mind is the self-arisen, certain Dharmakaya. It is the definitive meaning of all Buddhas, the supreme path of all yogis, the supreme wisdom of all-knowing. Now, listen again, Vajrasattva. To consider characteristics as mind is to diligently examine ignorance as Dharma in the two truths with the intellect, and to modify it with the mind. The Dharmakaya, free from mind and self-arisen, is born from the accumulation of merit, the purification of obscurations, and all conceptualizations. This Buddha, who did not arise from the mind, is particularly excellent among all vehicles. The generation and completion stages of outer and inner secret mantras are all practices of the four activities, after meditating on the deity with the three samadhis. All conceptualized mandalas of wishful thinking, because they are of interpretable meaning, are deluded mind. Even if one becomes accustomed to clear and stable samadhi, it is not the Buddha who did not arise from the mind. Now, listen again to the essence of the gathering. The truly definitive Buddha is this very self-luminous, effortless, and uncreated one, not meditated upon or generated by the mind. The Buddha who did not arise from the mind

It is so. In the self-arising nature of unawareness, Because there is no object of focus, How can there be meditation without a deity? Therefore, mind is all conceptualization. The nature that is not meditated upon at all, Because it transcends the realm of mind, It is self-arising, not born from mind, It is the intention of all Buddhas. Also, listen, Vajrasattva! Mind is the darkness of ignorance. Buddha is the wisdom body free from mind. Ignorant mind, purify the obscurations, Increase the wisdom of omniscience. Grasping permanence and annihilation is the ignorant mind, It is not born from that, free from imputation. The Dharmakaya is without the mind of permanence and annihilation. Not born from mind, it is Buddha. Sang means purifying the clinging to delusion. Gye means the Dharmakaya increases without wavering. Sang means purifying the clinging to mind. Gye means self-arising wisdom increases. Sang means purifying all the straying and obscuring minds. Gye means the incomprehensible wisdom increases. Sang means purifying dullness and drowsiness. Gye means the wisdom of higher vision increases. Therefore, that which is not born from mind, Is the wisdom of self-enlightenment. Now listen to the essence of the gathering. Sang means purifying wildness, distraction, and wandering. Gye means self-aware wisdom increases. Sang means purifying the clinging to samsara and nirvana. Gye means the clear Dharmakaya increases. Sang means purifying habitual afflictions. Gye means one's own nature increases. Sang means purifying the magical displays of the four maras. Gye means the overpowering view increases. Therefore, this self-arising awareness, Not born from mind, is Buddha. Now listen to the essence of the gathering. The Buddhas of the three times are free from mind. Because there are no eight consciousnesses, there is also no mind. The self-arising essence is the Dharmakaya, Not born from mind, it is Buddha. All sentient beings born from ignorance, Because they cling to mind, suffering arises. Therefore, being free from mind, there is no elaboration. In the self-arising Dharmakaya without elaboration, Because of being free from self-mind, there is no object of focus. That which has no object of focus is called Dharmakaya. Because mind has three times, Life has past, future, and present. Because mind has change and transformation, Therefore, the body has birth and death. Various illnesses, pain, and suffering, Because it is one's own mind, it ripens in samsara. Therefore, mind is not Buddha. Now listen, Vajrasattva! Because there is no birth or death, it is free from mind. Unborn, self-arising, it has always existed. That very wisdom of the path, If there is a beginning and an end, then there is time.
