I remember, because the nature of reality is self-illuminating, there is no arising or entering into samadhi. Now listen again, Vajrasattva, the Dharma that transcends samsara and nirvana, all Dharmas are immutable in their nature, a meaning devoid of the language of meditation, self-awareness and primordial wisdom are clearly manifest. The Great Perfection, the essence of all definitive meanings combined, from the Tantra of Equality with the Wisdom Sky, Chapter One Hundred and Eleven, which teaches the self-liberation of all conceptual thoughts. Now listen again to the essence of the gathering, all Buddhas and sentient beings, all aggregates, are impermanent and not the true nature. Do not place your mind on worldly dharmas, do not touch the basis of samsara and nirvana. Now listen again, Vajrasattva, like a fatherless, motherless bird in the forest, soaring into the expanse of the sky, suddenly samsara and nirvana are not continuous, the obscuration of ignorance is cleared by realizing the Dharmakaya. In this very primordial ignorance, it is enough to know by looking. Both samsara and nirvana cease from desire. The very nature that is not connected to objects, understanding that meaning, abides in meaning, is the essence of the original complete Dharmakaya. All extremes of hope and fear are completely pacified, there is no grasping at words, it is pure from the beginning. One and many, the extremes are naturally dharmas. Therefore, it transcends both samsara and nirvana. Hearing this, one is not afraid, it is a superior Dharma. Listen again to the essence of the gathering. Because there are no things, it is free from permanence. Because it pervades everything, it is free from annihilation. Because it is free from beginning and end, it is the self-born body. The Dharmakaya is like the sky. The view without forgetting is the grasp of mindfulness. The definitive meaning is without perversion. It is like abiding on the path of wisdom. In the view of self-awareness and certainty, look with the mind without distraction. That is also not an object-possessor. Looking at oneself, it is extremely clear. That gradually culminates in the wisdom mind. The nature of reality is free from elaboration and without change. Self-born wisdom abides primordially. That very thing is inseparable, the supreme of views. Listen again, Vajrasattva, in this attire of samsara and nirvana, as long as the habitual tendencies exist, in these phenomena that appear in this way, there is no desire for the objects of appearance. As long as those habitual tendencies are like a rope, a snake, a wooden peg. The Great Perfection, the essence of all definitive meanings combined, from the Tantra of Equality with the Wisdom Sky, Chapter One Hundred and Twelve, which teaches the signs of not touching the extremes. Then, to the assembly of the gathering, the all-knowing teacher, Kunsang (Samantabhadra), for cutting off the great obstacle of doubt

Granting. The great crossroads of argumentative words: Since the basis is definite, but appearances are not, Therefore, the essential point is shown, With valid scriptures and non-contradictory instructions. For example, in the essence of the sun, Darkness and light do not contradict each other. Since the single basis does not contradict anything, It is impossible to grasp at that time. Now listen to the essence of gathering: Like a drop of water merging into the ocean, In the face of great wisdom, Children grasp at differences. Therefore, it is the appearance of mind. Since all phenomena gather in the mind, Established by mind, the nine vehicles arise in sequence. On the basis, there is only one Dharmakaya. Now listen to Vajrasattva again: The object itself is the mind's attachment, it is suffering. One's own mind in the object becomes solid. From the one, it is reasonable that there is no birth or death. Since there is death and transference, it is a mental delusion. If you say it is both, it becomes a mixture. If everything without exception is mind, The Mind-Only school falls into the error of the Kataripa. Now listen to the essence of gathering again: The mind that falls outward and falls inward, Without knowing this, there is no benefit in samsara. Therefore, realizing the mind is of great importance. Therefore, instructions with scriptural authority are needed. Now listen to the essence of the retinue: In this definitive meaning of my Dharma, Meditation, existence, non-existence, are extreme dharmas. Since Buddhas and sentient beings are one in essence, Cause and effect, existence and non-existence, are spontaneously accomplished. If realized, without meditating, there is no separation, In the very nature of the self-arisen Dharmakaya, In the three times, there is no separation, Therefore, the definitive meaning does not need meditation. Now listen to the essence of gathering again: The aggregates in the Buddha and deity assembly, Meditation is not beneficial, it binds the yogi. If enlightenment is attained by abandoning appearances, Then what is the assembly of realizations that is the Buddha? If the Dharmakaya is not known now, Then what is the greatness of secret mantras and instructions? Therefore, the showing part does not need meditation. Now listen to the essence of gathering again: The relationship between Buddhas and sentient beings, If not realized, compassion is also powerless. If it exists, why do sentient beings wander in samsara? If there is no temporary relationship, What ultimate relationship is there? The collection of cause and effect is a lower dharma, This is the dependent cause and effect dharma. On the basis, there is one, but two ways of appearing, Ultimately, neither exists. This is samsara and nirvana, the dharma of ignorance. Since the dharma of space has no substance, Where are the conceptual thoughts of samsara? Liberation without abandoning, therefore no need to meditate. Now listen to the essence of gathering again: For the experience of tranquility and contemplation,
