Then, to dispel the doubts of the retinue of the assembled bodhisattva, with a truthful mind, he asked: What is the meaning of the self-arisen wisdom's essence, which is immeasurable and without an object? Why do you say that the reason for this very appearance is not established? What is the method for realizing that meaning? Why do you say there is no need to look? What analogy is used to represent the teachings that are without error and without falling? Please, King of Equality, explain. Having heard the meaning of this request, he spoke to the assembled gathering: All phenomena, such as objects themselves, arise spontaneously without action, Because the essence without an object arises spontaneously, it is originally unobscured and luminous, If nothing else is visible, the essence is not established from the ground. Without a subject, it is free from measurement. Furthermore, Vajrasattva, listen. In the clear Dharmakaya that manifests, All the various names that exist, Because there is no action of negation or affirmation, it is originally unestablished and luminous, It abides originally in its own place, because it is not established as self in another, The mind of enlightenment, free from the two extremes, in the absence of the four extremes, What kind of measuring reason is needed? Furthermore, Vajrasattva, listen. The expressing name that represents is not spoken.

Do. All phenomena, without exception, Because they follow the wrong path, The self-arising bindu without location, The essence of the unerring reality, Is definitely freed from looking elsewhere. Listen, Vajrasattva, In the nature of Samantabhadra's all-pervadingness, There is no error because the beginning and end are cut off. Furthermore, because wisdom self-arises, The error itself is the nature of reality. Because it has become the state of wisdom, It is said that there is no error because there is no attachment. Listen, the essence of the retinue, For example, although no one can, Like the sun rising in the sky, The essence of self-born wisdom, Because self-awareness, wisdom, bliss, and clarity, Appear without benefit or harm, There is no need to explain the terms of direction. Vajrasattva again asked, Without cultivation, inseparable from meaning, How can that meaning be realized? In the realm of becoming uncultivated, Where is one's own term established? As an example of that meaning being uncultivated, If there are no signs, how can one not understand? In the great self-arising view, How can non-cultivation not become an error? Having heard the meaning of that question, He gave instructions to the assembled retinue, The essence of one's own realization and, After opening the heart of the instruction's meaning, By the lama who realizes the continuum of knowledge, When it dawns in its true nature, Because the manifesting Dharmakaya has matured, The object of signs does not arise, Like the means of medicine and the doctor, What can be separated from the absence of mind and desire? Listen, the essence of the gathering, Because the bindu pervades the Dharmakaya, Because it self-arises in its true nature, Because nothing is regarded as supreme, Everything is liberated in its own place as it is. Therefore, because it does not abide at the extremes, The samadhi without abandonment or acceptance, Is established as the realm of becoming uncultivated. Listen, the essence of the gathering, In the nature of reality, which is uncultivated, Because there is no conceptual sign, One should not aim and eliminate. For example, in this very sky, Clouds and vapors, etc., As many as do not exist in the base, Because of self-remembering in its true nature, Because it is clear at the same time, it is true, There is no antidote to be corrected, The self-evident terms are exhausted by correction. Listen, the essence of the gathering, Because the self-arising bindu is without location, Because it does not enter into the true meaning, Because it has become the nature of reality, There is no one who seeks meaning. Because there is no other reality before and after, Especially cultivate
