Then, various wandering thoughts increase. There is only suffering, no happiness. If things unseen before are seen with the present eyes, the mind's conceptualization is a demon. It is said to be a wrong path for the eye of wisdom. Having five kinds of knowledge without having learned them is also a demon of wandering. If one strives under the power of attachment, therefore it is said to be a wrong path for meditation. When those are known as demons, and there is nothing like virtue, one has confidence free from hope and doubt. It is the realization of the true nature of meaning. The meaning of the decree that all Buddhas' intentions are gathered into one Dharmakaya. From the Tantra of the Precious Source of All Qualities, the seventeenth chapter, showing qualities as faults. Then, to the assembled gathering, the All-Knowing Teacher spoke: The four bardos of existence, the bardo of ignorance and delusion, the cause is the three forms of ignorance, the condition is straying due to the two habitual tendencies. The straying place is taking a body in the bardo, experiencing various sufferings. There is no end to the suffering of birth, aging, and death. Listen to the essence of the gathering. Wanting to be liberated and return from that, therefore, having done the root of virtue that is universally measured here, practicing the ten virtues, generosity, etc., with faith, thinking of the fruit in the future life, the power of the habitual tendencies of the same cause increases, only the status of gods and humans. Even if the power of aspiration is strong, the basis of virtue is exhausted, wandering in samsara. Listen to the essence of the gathering. In the bardo of changing places, of the gods, realization and the gods are simultaneous, the three times complete each other, the Buddha of fruition is that very time. Not realizing, meditating on the gods, one is born as Rudra. Listen to the essence of the gathering. In the bardo of the mind riding on the wind, meditating on the bliss of the inner and outer winds, the seven migrations, such as the sow, wanting the clear light wisdom body, it is provisional, not definitive. The meaning of the decree that all Buddhas' intentions are gathered into one Dharmakaya. From the Tantra of the Precious Source of All Qualities, the eighteenth chapter, showing wandering in the bardo of existence. Then, Vajrasattva, for the sake of the benefit of the assembled retinue, to the All-Knowing Teacher, the Dharma Lord, requested the true intention: With the definitive instructions of the lineage, what are the methods, examples, and meanings for averting the demons?

How to reverse the knot of ignorance? What are the reasons for reversing internally and externally? Where does the appearance lead astray by the object? Please, King of Equality, explain. Having heard the meaning of this question, he bestowed the teachings of reversal. Like the infallible reversal dharma, the meaning of the infallible reversal dharma, the signs of the infallible reversal dharmas, I will explain, listen carefully. Among them, the reversal dharma by example is: a rope may be mistaken for a snake, but a wooden phallus cannot be mistaken for a snake. What is not indicated may be mistaken, but there is no mistake in the basis of self-nature. Just as a rope is not mistaken for a person, there is no mistake in the basis of realization. Again, listen to the essence of the gathering. A female yak may be mistaken for a horse, but a bird cannot be mistaken for a horse. An object may be mistaken for mind, but awareness cannot be mistaken for matter. The five elements have no awareness, therefore there is no connection between object and mind. Again, listen to Vajrasattva. Explaining the reversal dharma of meaning is: on the unindicated knowledge, the six kinds of sentient beings have arisen from mistake. Spontaneously accomplished Buddhas have never been mistaken, therefore there is no mistake on the basis. Just as knowing that a rabbit has no horns, there is no mistaking the meaning. From similarity arises the mistake of existence, the mind's mistake of the object, various grasping and clinging arise. Just that much, in reality, does not exist. Just that much is the reversal dharma of meaning. Now again, listen to the essence of the gathering. With this definite reversal dharma of signs, a yogi who possesses definite teachings will not have ordinary mistakes. All the marks and signs of the Buddha will not be mistaken for an ordinary body. This omniscient wisdom will not be mistaken for ignorance and delusion. With this definite instruction of teachings, one will not wander in the three realms of samsara. Because of the experience that is in accordance with the basis, one will not take rebirth in the future. If one knows the meaning of dissolving into the expanse during sleep, darkness will not arise in the bardo. For the arising of the form body without searching, there is no need to accumulate merit beforehand. The meaning of the consultation in which the intentions of all the Buddhas are gathered into one dharmakaya. From the "Precious Source of All Qualities Tantra", the nineteenth chapter, which explains the reversal dharma of the signs of definite meaning. Again, listen to the essence of the gathering. The wisdom that reverses ignorance is: negation and affirmation.
