From the Tantra: The Eighty-Seventh Chapter, which teaches the faults of breaking the vows to be realized. Then, to the assembled gathering, the Omniscient Teacher spoke: The vows that are intentionally made, towards the kind guru who possesses the lineage, if you despise and generate evil thoughts, you will undoubtedly fall into the Vajra Hell without liberation. It is like drinking poison without measure. Being jealous of friends, doing evil deeds, causing displeasure to Dharma brothers and sisters and committing offenses, all wishes will not be fulfilled, being burned and obscured. It is like a person without support. If you reveal secrets to others, you will suffer from illness for a long time and be separated from wealth. In the next life, you will fall into the Naraka Hell. It is like killing relatives without knowing the truth. Those who claim to be yogis but are lazy, because the senses are distracted by objects, there is no Shamatha or Vipassana. It is like a small bird caught in a thin snare. Rejecting the definitive instructions, but regarding small signs of accomplishment as supreme, is a person who destroys themselves. It is like an innocent king being executed. Abandoning the Dharma but being harsh to the retinue, holding onto worldly dharmas as supreme, because there is no antidote, one's own mindstream is confused. It is like an old donkey stuck in the mud. The Great Perfection, the essence of all definitive meanings, is gathered in the Tantra that is equal to the wisdom sky. The Eighty-Eighth Chapter, which teaches the faults of not intentionally guarding the vows. Then, to the assembled gathering, the Omniscient Teacher, the Dharma King, spoke, giving the vows to be protected: If you associate with the guru as an enemy, all the Vidyadharas will become wrathful, cutting off the life force of liberation and falling into hell. It is like gouging out one's own eyes. If you break the vows and reconcile disputes, all the Bodhisattvas and pure ones will become wrathful, and being separated from the gods, faults will arise. It is like a merchant without an escort. If you say you are eating without defilement, and smear the meat with dazzling eyes, you will encounter enemies, thieves, and obstacles, and your merit will diminish. It is like crops destroyed by hail. If you spread the six lineages to others, you will be afflicted by the diseases of the Dakinis, and all suffering will come for a long time. In the next life, you will fall into the mute hell. It is like a prisoner dying under iron. If you use rotten meat for a black face, you will be infected by contagious diseases, and in the next life, you will be reborn as a maggot among animals. It is like a jewel sinking into the mud. The Great Perfection, the essence of all definitive meanings, is gathered in the Tantra that is equal to the wisdom sky. Guarding

This is the chapter showing the faults of breaking the vows to be abandoned, the eighty-ninth. Then, to the assembled gathering, The all-knowing teacher, the Dharma Lord, Spoke the vows to be abandoned. If ordinary sentient beings are killed, The refuge is broken and compassion is lost. Beings become demons and the sin is great. Like a Rakshasa holding a child in its hand. If a yogi takes what is not given, He will be born in the realm of the hungry ghosts, If it is used by all beings, He will be born in the extremely hot hell. If one indulges in lust with a woman who has five protectors, There will be separation and obstacles to life. In the future, he will be born as a Rakshasa's son, crying, Like a Rakshasa in a cat's womb. If one changes one's mind at will and tells lies, Here, no one will trust or place hope. In the future, the tongue will be pierced and he will be born as a mute, Like a crippled person without a mouth or food. Now listen again to the essence of the gathering, Those faults of breaking the vows, Are all born from the root of ignorance and delusion. Therefore, the faults of not having transmission, Have no end at the end of samsara. The Great Perfection, the essence of all meanings, the tantra of wisdom equal to the sky, the vows to be abandoned, the chapter showing the faults of breaking them, the ninetieth. Then, to the assembled gathering, The faults of breaking the empowerment vows, The doors of downfall, were spoken thus. If one does not realize the Dharmakaya of one's own mind, Even if one knows and explains many sutras and tantras, Because of praising oneself and denigrating others, One will fall into the doors of the three lower realms and wander. Obstructing the good intentions and actions of others Is the action of a demon, Being stingy with the wealth of others, Without realization, one will fall into the demon's door and wander. Without realization, even if one has immeasurable power, One is full of arrogance and prideful afflictions, Even if one is a powerful and wealthy person in this world, One will fall into the Yaksha's door and constantly wander. Now listen again to the essence of the gathering, Without realizing the equality of Dharmakaya, One indulges in one's own attachment, hatred, and arrogance, Without compassion, one delights in killing, One will fall into the Rakshasa's door and be born in hell. Without obtaining self-mastery in samadhi, One is bound by sins and separated from one's retinue, Desiring to be great oneself and gathering a retinue, One will constantly be born as a fierce carnivorous beast. Without realizing correctly and without error, One engages in various wrong views and harsh behaviors, Arguing with others without understanding oneself, One will fall into the Rudra's door and be born in hell. Now listen again, Vajrasattva, Without realization, no matter how skilled one is in activities
