Small attachment to the thought of an enemy, Like a child, without greed, absorbed in meaning, Understand enjoyment as self-liberated and playful, Now listen again, Vajrasattva, Yoga is self-born and certain, If staying in a monastery, the faithful gather, Relying on those who are pretentious and flattering, Showing everyone how to answer back, From the confusion of enjoyment, demons enter, Abandoning samadhi and grasping others' minds, Clinging to high positions with hopeful longing, Saying they are Dharma practitioners, desiring praise, Delighting in reading and chanting nominal Dharma, Abandoning the meaning of meditation, becoming a distracting demon, Holding onto "I" and "mine" towards patrons, Falling into self-deception due to great confusion, Now listen again, Vajrasattva, The distinction between attachment and the demon of place is, Little learning, great cleverness, building up pleasant experiences, Because auspiciousness and pleasantness are without ghosts, Relying on ghosts, having power, threatening others, Knowing not to be attached to places, knowing no clinging, Knowing that self and other are without basis, Wherever one stays is the Akanishta realm, Now listen again, Vajrasattva, The yogi who desires solitude, In a place that pleases oneself, Grasping the senses as self in relation to objects, Auspicious, without ghosts, powerful gods, The demon of self-praise and attachment enters, Abandoning samadhi and building up pleasant experiences, Protected by protectors, unable to go, Saying such things, self-praise without meaning, Therefore, the result is without meaning, Rising as a demon of self-experience and pleasure, Falling to the end of samsara, without liberation, Falling into self-deception by the demon of place, Now listen again, Vajrasattva, The distinction between qualities, distraction, and gathering is, Remembering respect with the five kinds of wisdom, Abandoning meaning, making others' meanings one's own, Turning away from attachment, overpowering with the memory of meaning, Knowing the absence of demons as the encouragement of wisdom, Distraction, self and other, becoming Dharmakaya, Now listen to the essence of gathering, The yogi with faith in the Dharma, A person who knows various qualities, Even with the five kinds of wisdom, Deliberately working for the benefit of others, The demon of distraction enters within, Abandoning samadhi by others' praise, Teaching Dharma, practicing medicine, and crafts, Attachment arises towards desired objects, All actions are done deliberately, With distraction, one's own mind rises as a demon, Separated from meaning, falling into self-deception, Now listen again, Vajrasattva, When bad company and mental disturbance arise as demons, Looking down, bad company, intense mental suffering, A competitive mind, staying without contentment, Turning away from faith, slandering, great hatred.

Dang arises! Severing the connection by restraining compassion. The demon itself, from knowing the Dharmakaya, There is not even a speck of abandoning and discarding. Now listen again, Vajrasattva, The yogi with little learning is attached. Because of excessive grief for bad relatives, With the attachment of grasping and clinging, one destroys one's own lineage. Accumulating wealth and giving it away, At that time, the mind is confused and the demon has entered. Secretly giving to relatives and close ones. Bad retinues compete with each other, Always desiring without contentment. At that time, merit and faith decline. Slander arises from accusation, Ungratefully uttering harsh words. Bad retinues are deceived by demons and fall. Now listen again, Vajrasattva, Those demons of conduct, Arise from attachment to the eight worldly dharmas. Therefore, seek distraction as the main point. Voluntarily falling into samsara, self-deceived. The Great Perfection, the essence of all definitive meanings combined. From the Tantra of Wisdom Equal to Space, The chapter on the demons of conduct is the second meaning. Now listen to the essence of the gathering, The prophecy of the worldly dakinis, the demon. The demon of attachment to experience. The demon of attachment, desire, and pretense. The demon of craving and enjoying pleasure. The demon of lack of confidence, slander, and hatred. The demons of pride and exaggeration arise. Now listen again, Vajrasattva, When the demon of dakini prophecy arises, They say, "Do not stay here, benefit beings." Desire enters the heart, seeking attachment. Doing various difficult things that are not accomplished. When there is attachment, desire is empty. Know that the prophecy is deceptive and false. There is no certainty in the base, free from doubt. Now listen again, Vajrasattva, When a noble yogi is in samadhi, Manifesting as the body of a dakini, Saying, "Do not stay in the cave, for the sake of benefiting beings." Praising the merits of benefiting others. At that time, the dakini demon enters, Abandoning samadhi and engaging in benefiting others. Arrogant in distracted actions, Naming it dharma and doing whatever. Therefore, not knowing the demon of prophecy, Confused people who hold falsehood as truth. Deceiving oneself is pitiful, Because it is meaningless, one is deceived by demons and falls. Now listen again, Vajrasattva, When the demon of attachment to experience arises, The bliss of non-conceptual attachment arises. Because there is increase and decrease, it is uncertain. Because it is not recognized, it is not prophesied. The confidence of higher vision and mindfulness
