To the retinues, he teaches the Dharma of the fruit that is not sought. After circumambulating him, with complete self-aware faith, as an offering to request the ultimate meaning, he offers the fruit of the wish-fulfilling tree. He asks about the true meaning of that, the essence of self-arising from the very beginning, the Dharma-nature being self-existing from the very beginning, why is it necessary to hear and think? Having heard the meaning of this request, the Buddha, the lord of victors, is pleased with the wish-fulfilling fruit, and bestows the answer to the request: From the very beginning, the Dharma-nature is self-existing, it is not necessary to hear and think, but in order to dispel the darkness of ignorance, faith arises through the causes of valid scriptures. Thus he speaks, and the doubt about the necessity of hearing and thinking is dispelled. Because of the request, certainty is attained, therefore wisdom is manifested. Now listen to the essence of the gathering again. In the pure land of the southwest, the Buddha, the essence of merit, teaches the Dharma of the fruit that is not sought to his faithful retinue. After circumambulating him, with complete wisdom and faith, as an offering to request the ultimate meaning, he offers a full jar of Bamen Rawa fruit. To this he asks the meaning of what is needed, from the very beginning, with constant Samadhi, the Dharma-nature is inherently clear light, how do sinking and excitement arise? Having heard the meaning of this request, the Buddha, the essence of merit, is pleased with the fruit, and bestows the answer to the request: The Dharma-nature is inherently clear light, because it is not separated from the Vipaka body, for the oral instructions without inverted suppression, sinking and excitement arise due to the causes of the eight consciousnesses. Thus he speaks, and he dispels doubt through his own practice. Because of the request, certainty is attained, therefore Samadhi is manifested. Now listen to the essence of the gathering again. In the land of the northwest without cycles, the Buddha, the peaceful lord, extensively teaches the fruit that is not sought to his faithful retinue. After circumambulating him, with unwavering faith, as an offering to request the ultimate meaning, he offers a jar of honey. To this he asks the true meaning, the basis of self-awareness, the nature of the ground, is inherently self-arising without cause, how do increase and decrease arise? Having heard the meaning of this request, the Buddha, the peaceful lord, is pleased with the offering of honey, and bestows the answer to the request: Self-arising wisdom

In the essence, there is no increase or decrease, only because the darkness of ignorance has not been removed. Due to the condition of the Alaya, increase and decrease occur. Having spoken thus, the doubt of increase and decrease is dispelled. After asking, certainty is attained, therefore wisdom is manifested. Now listen to the essence of the gathering again. In the pure land of the northeast, that Buddha of the essence of peace, for the faithful retinue, reveals the dharmas of the fruit of the mind. Having circumambulated him, with complete faith, as an offering for asking the ultimate meaning, a precious Ketaka fruit is offered. Thereupon, the ultimate meaning is asked: In the innate nature of one's own mind, in the ground that has no beginning or end, from where do the beginning and end of samsara and nirvana come? Having heard the meaning of this question, that sunlight of the Buddha, pleased by the precious Ketaka fruit, bestowed the answer to the question: The ground itself is immutable in the three times, because the mind does not desire to alter it. From the difference between wisdom and ignorance, the two, samsara and nirvana, have a beginning and an end. Having spoken thus, the doubt of having or not having a beginning and end is dispelled. Because of asking, certainty is attained, therefore the fruit is manifested. Now listen to the essence of the gathering again. In the realm without beginning or end, that Buddha, the essence of space, for the retinue of faithful listeners, reveals the dharmas of the unfound fruit. Having circumambulated him, with complete and ultimate faith, as a support for asking the ultimate meaning, an Utpala flower is offered. Thereupon, the ultimate meaning is asked: In the essence of self-nature purity, in the ground where there is no appearance, how does sudden delusion arise? As soon as this was asked, that Buddha, the essence of space, pleased by the Utpala, bestowed the answer to the question: In the ground, there is no appearance, like space. By the condition of ignorance, due to the grasper and the grasped, because of the delusion of one's own other-appearance, habitual appearances arise like clouds. Having spoken thus, the doubt of whether appearance exists or not is dispelled. Because of asking, certainty is attained, therefore the fruit is manifested. Now listen to the essence of the gathering again. In the realm of expanding qualities, that Buddha named Billion-Eyed, personally for the retinue of faithful listeners, reveals the dharmas of the unfound fruit. Having circumambulated him, with complete
