Sa! Between the efforts of one and not one, there is no end to the cycle of existence. Therefore, having realized the meaning of self-awareness, what is the use of an object without mind? Therefore, this essence of one's own mind, because it has transcended the object of the mind. Between the expressions of one and not one, the mind of ignorance has objects. Those with wrong views hold it as supreme. Therefore, the dharmas of sound and characteristics, like the scriptures of monkeys, are falsely distinguished, and all dharmas of object-mind effort arise. I teach with scriptures and instructions, to the truly certain Buddha, the self-aware Dharmakaya is separate from mind. Therefore, objectless awareness is primary. Hearing my scriptures destroys object-mind. Now listen again to the essence of the gathering. That is also, to put the root briefly, like the sunrise without shadows. By realizing the meaning of the self-born Dharmakaya, the delusion and obscuration of object-mind are purified from the root. Therefore, the self-born wisdom body, because it does not change in the three times, is the unmistaken, truly manifest enlightenment. Therefore, it is enough to realize the definitive meaning. Chapter Eighteen, which explains the distinction of object-mind at the base in the Great Perfection Definitive Meaning Gathering, is complete. Then, to the assembled gathering, the King of All-Knowing Mind, gave the teachings on the distinction between cause and effect, in the essence of true certainty, because actions and conduct are not defiled by arising, cause and effect are of one essence. The nature of self-born awareness is like a precious wish-fulfilling jewel, the desired results are fulfilled at once. Likewise, in the definitive meaning of Dharmakaya, qualities are perfected by realization alone. Listen again to the essence of the gathering. All the dharmas of other vehicles are cause and effect, not at once but sought in sequence. Because there is effort and practice, it is the cause of samsara. Only temporary happiness is attained, but there is no ultimate end. It is said that the generation sequence of cause and effect is mistaken. For example, all created things are impermanent and quickly destroyed. All dharmas created by cause and condition are mistaken. The result does not arise like water and a tree. Now listen again to the essence of the gathering. If the root of true meaning is summarized, like the ornaments of Takshaka, cause and effect are perfected from the base to the end. Likewise, in the essence of Dharmakaya, the qualities of bliss manifest spontaneously. Because cause and effect are one, it is spontaneously accomplished. Chapter on explaining the distinction of the meaning of cause and effect in the Great Perfection Definitive Meaning Gathering

Chapter Nineteen. Then, Kunjig Gyalpo, in order to distinguish between what can be meditated upon and what cannot, deliberately thought and said: If you want to understand its meaning without error, not meditating is the immediate attainment of Buddhahood. The self-born Dharmakaya is originally so, the essence of Bodhichitta does not need meditation. Now listen again to the essence of the gathering, therefore the nature of reality is originally pure. Kuntuzangpo, my heart essence lineage, through five unerring instructions, effortlessly allows the fortunate ones to realize the meaning of the essence of their own mind. Now listen again, Vajrasattva, how is the intention of the Buddha, the method for sentient beings to understand with their minds, because it cannot be symbolized by metaphors, it is not explained, only through the instruction of the oral instructions, not meditating can also be done immediately, in order to realize the true meaning, so it is said that there is no meditation. Not meditating, inseparable from the Buddha's heart, is no different from the heart of Kuntuzangpo, in the great tantra of the wheel of bliss, I have said that there is no need to meditate. Now listen again, Vajrasattva, for those without fortune, the oral instructions of that meaning, and the method of dwelling in peace without distraction, which can be meditated upon, are explained to the retinue, listen carefully. Who would be afraid of non-meditation? The characteristics, power, and three are explained in order. For those who experience that meaning, faith and confidence will arise. Therefore, rely on the solitude of your own mind, where wisdom will greatly increase, and experiences will arise sequentially from the outside in, and when that happens, do not generate feelings of joy or sorrow. Now listen again, Vajrasattva, from the words symbolizing various names, turn back and dwell in the unspeakable self-nature, not following the mundane, this is said to be the supreme aspect of what can be meditated upon. Therefore, meditating without distraction, oneself and other retinues, can also understand from the perspective of meaning. The Vidyadhara warriors of mind can also gain stability through familiarizing themselves with Samadhi. The faithful listeners dwelling in the retinue can also become accustomed to the views they believe in. Yogis with shallow wisdom desire to dwell and spontaneously accomplish unwavering, therefore it is difficult to realize one's own mind. In the Great Perfection, the ultimate meaning of the collection, the twentieth chapter of the teaching on the occasion of what can and cannot be practiced. Then, to the assembled retinues, Kunjig Gyalpo said: The Dharmakaya that has always existed, the difference between realization and non-realization, listen carefully and remember with your mind. Sentient beings who have not realized their own minds
