The ground, its own nature, is free from hope and doubt, abiding in primordial liberation, hence liberation. Appearances are primordially complete. Therefore, since all appearances are taught as self-liberated by themselves, it is called self-liberation. Thus, from the Tantra of the Precious Rosary of Pearls, the fourth chapter, "Effortless Self-Liberation." Then, the wrathful ones of the families requested with these words: "O, O, Bhagavan Vajradhara! For the sake of self and others, what is the nature of all Buddhas? A brief question. How does the Buddha-nature abide in sentient beings? If that very Buddha-nature abides in sentient beings, it should not be confused. That is, how does confusion reverse? What is the method and means by which it reverses? What is that very non-confused wisdom like? We are in doubt about that. Therefore, how do the appearances of non-confusion and confusion appear? Calling upon the main teacher. How do we eliminate our doubts? Please do. The teacher, Vajradhara, replied extensively: "Vajradhara, lord of secrets, listen. Those two natures are the same in essence, but different in basis. The nature is like confusion. Abide in the thought of solitary simplicity. It abides in wisdom that is inexpressible and free from form. Possessing the nature of the great bliss bindu. Abiding in a body of distinguished realization. The nature of all Buddhas, in primordial purity, all is one, one mandala. The nature is free from all stains of essence, clear and transparent, hence primordially pure. Wisdom abides deeply and completely in nature itself, spontaneously accomplished. Unfounded awareness, directionless awareness, wisdom that does not look back, the appearance of objects absorbed into the expanse, unattached wisdom, appearance without objects, transcending earth, direction, and category. There is no existence, non-existence, or seeming existence. There is no grasping of things as permanent or impermanent. It is not the domain of sound and measure. That ground itself cannot be determined. One is transcendence, two is samsara, and there is no counting. Rootless awareness, appearing as objects. Established by spontaneous descent into the great emptiness. An appearance that cannot be found by analysis. It is not the domain of scripture and reason. It cannot be touched. It cannot be measured or examined by tantras and instructions written in words.

It cannot be measured. Those who view, meditate, and practice, Being inseparable from the lamp, one cannot understand its meaning through words, views, and meditations. Its meaning and fruit are not formed by tangible objects. It will be obscured by doctrines such as Madhyamaka and Pramana. It is not accomplished by thought, Nor is it seen by hearing and thinking. Wisdom also cannot measure it. It is self-purifying awareness beyond the mind. With generosity, discipline, and patience, There is no result of harm or benefit to it. Those who hear, think, and meditate, Even if they examine extremely, they do not see its meaning. There is no mandala there. Nor can it be obtained by empowerment. There is no deity formed with face and hands, nor is there a seed of generation. What is the use of root mantras, recitation mantras, and hand gestures? There are no symbolic mudras and meaning mudras. There is no need to arrange outer, inner, and secret offerings, etc. Where is the empowerment to be given, and the boundaries of vows to be protected? There is no recitation, approach, or accomplishment of the main deity and retinue. No mandala or offerings are needed. There is no unfolding of the wheel, nor is there the arising of the mandala. There is no protection, no need for walls and net boundaries, and no object to be protected. Demons cannot interrupt, transcending the realm of harm. Because everything is not accomplished in meaning. The realization of awareness is my own self-born awareness, and it is also the practitioner. It is mind, and it is also born from mind. The five root afflictions are self-born wisdom. The fifty mental factors are my own self-knowing. It is many and it is one. All that appears in this way is awareness, and the single bindu of Dharmakaya is also me. Samsara and Nirvana are me. Mandala and so on are entered in stages. There is no need for the above mandala and so on, that is, empowerment, vows, and the generation stage, etc., are also me, and the performed dharmas are also me, the king of awareness does not divide into two. Because all performed dharmas have become self-nature. It is dharma, and it appears as dharma. Because there is nowhere to go, my awareness is abiding and liberated. Sitting, lying, and walking on the ground are also it. Protecting the lives of others is also it, and cutting off their lives is also it. The three realms of desire, form, and formlessness are born from it. Deities and faces and hands
