Like the appearance of a leaf. The appearance of emptiness and clarity, indistinguishable, is like a pure realm. Hard and stable, like a diamond. Being the basis of everything, like the flat earth. Completely fulfilling all needs and desires, like a wish-fulfilling tree. Clear and transparent, like a queen's mirror. Walking in the sky without feet, like the king of birds. With ornaments and attire, like a charming girl wearing a garland. Thoroughly penetrating everything, like a hero's arrow. Gathering into the realm of wisdom, like water. Burning afflictions and habitual tendencies, like fire. These metaphors symbolize in this way, applying to the meaning of wisdom. Constant and unchanging, the body of vast wisdom. Everyone has it, but it is cut off by self-secret means. Unchanging, the awareness of Bodhicitta that dwells in everyone. Its essence is unchanging, dwelling in everyone in the same way. Its nature is clear, pervading all beings. Naturally unmoving, the expanse of vast and blissful space. Possessing the Vajra vow, it should be taken. Thus it was said. Then, the Lord of Secrets, Vajrapani, raised the Vajra and prayed thus: Alala Ho! The intention of all the Tathagatas has been understood. I have obtained my own great benefit. Having said this, he raised the Vajra, and all the realms of the three thousand great thousand worlds were filled with the body of the Tathagata. Thus, those sentient beings who saw the body of the Tathagata also attained complete enlightenment. All the places of birth in the lower realms were cut off. Then, the Lord of Secrets, having a wonderful thought about himself, prayed to the Great Vajradhara thus: Kye Kye, Blessed Vajradhara! If the example of awareness is like this, please speak of the example of ignorance. Thus he requested. Vajradhara said: Emaho! Listen, Vajra Holder. Samsara, which is immature and unawakened, is like a bell cast with molten iron. If it is not released, there will be no time for liberation. In the same way, how can ignorance, cast with molten iron, be liberated? Ignorance is like water, gathering everything. The fire of hatred is like the fire at the end of an eon. Desire is like drinking hot water. Delusion and darkness are like the darkness of an empty room. Pride and arrogance are like toppling a mountain. Jealousy and malice are like a narrow ravine. Afflictions, etc.

The five obscure wisdom. Mind is like an empty house, like a thief. Breath is like a monkey in the forest. Consciousness is like an unclean mud puddle. Alaya is like a sentient pig. Knowledge is like a feather carried by the wind. Grasping and being grasped are like a man infatuated by women. The distinctions of karma are like a tangled bird net. The distinctions of suffering are like ripples on water. There is no way to endure the fruit of afflictions. This peg that holds onto the suffering of samsara, doing it will not liberate, letting go will liberate. Abandoning fabricated dharmas will accomplish leisure. Abandoning all thoughts, the ocean of wisdom does not waver. Practicing the king of secret mantras, afflictions transform into wisdom. For example, if a lamp is lit in an empty house, darkness will be dispelled. Likewise, if the lamp of wisdom is raised, ignorance will transform into knowledge. If the realization of suchness arises in the mindstream, all afflictions will appear as friends of wisdom. Therefore, son of lineage, unite the five afflictions with the five wisdoms. Unite the threefold impurity with the threefold wisdom. Unite the appearance of various afflictions with the appearance of various colors of the light of wisdom. Emaho! Son of lineage, if you know this, the impure appearances will have no obscuration. Son of lineage, if you abide in your own leisure, the appearance of wisdom will naturally arise. Therefore, it is said that one should abide alone without companions. O friends, the fruit of the perfectly complete Buddha has no ripeness or unripeness. Therefore, this is the instruction on how to attain the fruit without meditation. O friends, the view of the perfectly complete Buddha is free from all expression. Therefore, a Bodhisattva should not abide in the Dharma. O friends, the intention of the perfectly complete Buddha should be sought within oneself. Therefore, hold this tantra as the sacred word of the Buddha. Recognize the wisdom of non-duality. Skillfully make awareness free from grasping and being grasped. Gather all that appears in awareness into one space. Having spoken thus, he entered into the samadhi called "Radiating Light". Then, the dakinis made sounds.
