Since wisdom abides immovably and equally, it is in the nature of the Wisdom of Equality. Since awareness transcends the realm of good and bad, it is in the nature of the Wisdom of Equality. Since awareness is free from all conceptualizations, it is in the nature of the Wisdom of Equality. Since awareness transcends sound and words, it is in the nature of the Wisdom of Equality. Since awareness understands the distinctions of mind, it is in the nature of the Wisdom of Discriminating Awareness. Since awareness understands manifoldly, it is in the nature of the Wisdom of Discriminating Awareness. Since awareness arises in any way, it is in the nature of the Wisdom of Discriminating Awareness. Since awareness appears in any form, it is in the nature of the Wisdom of Discriminating Awareness. Since awareness is without seeking or striving, it is in the nature of the Wisdom of Accomplishing Activities. Since awareness, grasping and conceptualization are perfected in the expanse, it is in the nature of the Wisdom of Accomplishing Activities. Since awareness is perfected in the nature of non-arising, it is in the nature of the Wisdom of Accomplishing Activities. Since awareness is perfected in the nature of non-cessation, it is in the nature of the Wisdom of Accomplishing Activities. Thus, all sentient beings should understand it in this way. What are the five lights that arise from wisdom? They are the five aspects of color: Since awareness is immutable in the Dharmakaya, the color appears as dark blue. Since awareness is free from all thoughts, the color appears as dark blue. Since awareness is endowed with radiance, the great light appears as dark blue. Since the fruit of awareness is primordially pure, the great light appears as dark blue. Since awareness itself is free from the stain of afflictions, the color appears as white. Since awareness is pure like a crystal ball, the color appears as white. Since awareness, the Bodhicitta, is without impurity, the color appears as white. Since the rays of awareness are infinitely deep, the color appears as white. Since the wisdom of awareness is free from terms, the great light appears as yellow. Since the wisdom of awareness is without grasping, the great light appears as yellow. Since the wisdom of awareness is naturally clear, the great light appears as yellow. Since awareness is perfected in the immutable nature, the great light appears as yellow. Since all the senses are perfected in the expanse of awareness, the color appears as red. Since non-arising is perfected simultaneously in the expanse of awareness, the color appears as red. Since awareness is the Tathagata in the immutable nature, the great light appears as red. Since awareness, without cessation, pervades all, the great light appears as red. Since the ground of awareness is immutable, the great light appears as green. Since awareness pervades emptiness with phenomena, the color appears as green. Since the wisdom of awareness is without cessation, the color appears as green. Since there is no object of grasping, the color appears as green. From this, light radiates and fills the world.

This supreme light of wisdom, rare to all. Seeing the light of wisdom filling the sky. It also liberates all sentient beings. Thus, from the great tantra, The Secret Vajrasattva Heart Mirror, the fifth chapter, the chapter on body and wisdom. Then again, the Lord of Secrets, Vajrapani, manifested there, and prayed to the one with great compassion, saying: O vast expanse, Blessed One, compassionate one, please speak of the great treasure of the arising of enlightenment. Thus he prayed. The Lord of Power gave his command: O Vajra Holder, listen, keep well in mind what I teach. This nectar of self-awareness, bodhicitta, is like this precious jewel of the gods. If placed in a cold place, it becomes warm. If placed in a warm place, it becomes cool. If placed in a dark place, it becomes bright. Likewise, this self-arising awareness, if it is endowed with the meaning of realization, then afflictions become friends of wisdom. Even if afflictions arise, if they become the power of wisdom, there is no obscuration. O Secret Lord, be sure to hold on to this drop of nectar that arises from oneself, like a jewel that clears water. If it is given to a turbid place, the turbidity will be cleared. Likewise, this instruction on the essential meaning, if planted, will not be stained by afflictions. From the mud of habitual patterns, a lotus of wisdom will arise. The water of wisdom washes away all afflictions. The fire of wisdom burns away habitual patterns. In the body of wisdom and bliss, all appearances are clear. If one sits alone in leisure, appearances arise as friends. From the unborn realm, the light of wisdom is clear. Everyone has it, but no one sees it. Immeasurable, like the realm of space. Clear and radiant, like the light of the sun. Unchanging, like Mount Meru. Deep and fathomless, like the depths of the ocean. Untainted, like a lotus in the mud. Unidentifiable, like the moon in the water. Appearing in all ways, like the magic of the sky. Clear and complete in color, like a rainbow in the sky. Unobstructed, like a wheel of wind. Unceasing in birth and death, like the flow of a river. Pervading all, like the belly of time. Various thoughts arise, like mis-
