To the unoriginated wisdom mother without branch wisdom, is named the unborn Dharmakaya. To the nature born of branch wisdom, is named the Sambhogakaya. To the image adorned with branch marks and signs, is named the Nirmanakaya. To the nature where the three bodies abide indivisibly, is named the Svabhavikakaya. To the nature of the body, without outflows, is named the Mahasukha body. The appearance of naming the four Yoga bodies is as follows: To the nature born of branch wisdom, is named Vairochana, the Dharmakaya without object. Vairochana, the Sambhogakaya. Vajrasattva, the unwavering abiding body. Shakyamuni Buddha is considered the Nirmanakaya. The three bodies of Upaya and Kriya are: To the nature of the self of branch wisdom, Vajrasattva, the Dharmakaya without object. Vajradhara, the Sambhogakaya. Shakyamuni Buddha is considered the Nirmanakaya. The three bodies of Sutra, Pratyekabuddha, and Shravaka are: To the nature of branch skill, without object, is named the Dharmakaya. To the nature of the body born of branch wisdom, adorned with marks and signs, the Sambhogakaya. From the arising of immeasurable great compassion of branch, is named the Nirmanakaya. From the Great Sutra of the Jewel Heap, the twenty-sixth chapter, "The Appearance of Naming the Bodies," is complete. The Samantabhadra, the teacher of teachers, to the Guhyapati Vajrasattva, the essence of the heart, which is inexpressible, and from which various sounds arise from speech and letters, what is the definitive meaning of this appearance? Samantabhadra, the teacher of teachers, to the Guhyapati Vajrasattva, this self-existing, spontaneously accomplished essence of the heart, transcends words and sounds that are without substance or characteristics, the inexpressible nature is without letters, and the nature of the tantra without letters is also without cessation or non-cessation, non-duality, and without name. From the meeting of the branches of self-arisen skill, sounds, letters, and speech arise separately. The distinctions of sounds arise separately from the unoriginated wisdom mother without branch wisdom, the habitual tendencies of the vessel increase into objects, and from the birth of branch wisdom as essence.
