That wisdom abiding within oneself, if it does not dawn within oneself, the qualities of the higher grounds are merely names and not the real meaning. If self-arisen wisdom does not dawn, then the grounds and paths cannot be practiced. If there is nothing to be attained, then there is no such thing as grounds and paths. If the dharmakaya does not dawn internally and externally, then the path that prevents obscurations and what is obscured will not be truly established, so no matter what one does, it is conditioned dharma. If one does not realize the dharmakaya itself, and the wisdom of awareness does not dawn, even if non-conceptuality arises, it is like the two kinds of meditative absorption. Even if the wisdom of bliss arises, it is like the gods of the second dhyana. Even if one knows all dharmas as space, when awareness engages with objects, it is like the sphere of infinite space. If one blocks appearances and grasps emptiness, it is like the sphere of nothingness. If one grasps all as consciousness, it is like the sphere of infinite consciousness. If one grasps appearances definitively, it is like the views of ordinary individuals. If one knows the nature of the expanse, then for appearances that cannot be abandoned, emptiness itself does not need to be accomplished. The appearances of the expanse can arise as anything, the appearances of wisdom can clearly illuminate anything, and the appearances of non-duality can enjoy anything. In a state of bliss without blocking or accomplishing, the unconditioned essence is the very meaning, without accomplishment, it transcends all extremes, and without blocking, there is no ground or path of straying. Without hope or fear of results, non-differentiation is Samantabhadra. This great Vajrayana, the appearances internally and externally, are symbols of the union of skillful means and wisdom, the wisdom body of the all-knowing. If one does not realize from this, there is nothing to be realized. The all-knowing of all aspects also arises from the unconditioned, if conditioned, there is no all-knowing. Appearances unconditioned are dharmata, awareness unconditioned is wisdom itself. If one knows non-duality, then one knows all wisdom. If one practices the grounds and paths, it is a path of straying. What is called Vajrasattva arises from the unconditioned nature. All grasping at grounds and paths is the domain of mistaken thoughts. From the Great Extensive Jewel Tantra, the forty-ninth chapter, on how the grounds and paths cannot be traversed by the body and wisdom.
