In the nature of reality, the unmoving essence itself is clear, the unceasing wisdom of self-nature arises. In the sky free from habits, the radiance of the four elements shines forth. Appearances are without inherent existence, liberated by knowledge. Unceasing, self-radiant, illuminating beings with clear light. The play of cyclic existence's own nature, is the Dharma encompassing the outer and inner, vessel and essence. Appearing as form, it is the adornment of the body, like the moon in water, free from grasping. All sounds and voices, are the adornment of speech, like echoes, not truly existent. All memories and awareness, are the adornment of mind, like the sky, not truly existent. Since grasping and the grasped are not established in their own nature, it delights in the realm of unobstructed wisdom. Body, speech, and mind are liberated in the nature of body, speech, and mind. Since the three bodies, adornments, and displays all arise, all conceptual adornments and displays appear. Appearances and sounds are like illusions and dreams, without inherent nature. Realizing existence as non-existence, conceptual thoughts are subdued. Realizing non-existence as existence, by realizing the three bodies, wisdom arises from within. The Manjushri body, with its five lights unceasing, is an example of the Dharmakaya adorned with wisdom. From the Lion's Roar's intent, in the union of sun and moon, the chapter on adornment and display, the twentieth. Alas! Bhagavan, Lord of compassion and skillful means, please reveal the examples of the three bodies. The command was given: Just as the essence of the sun gives rise to rays of light, the three bodies are the very nature of radiating light. Just as a peacock egg has five colors, the three bodies' wisdom has the example of possessing five colors. Just as Manjushri, when meeting with conditions, causes light to emanate outward, from within the nature of the Dharmakaya, the two bodies clearly appear within. Just as a chick matures in an egg and emerges outward, the Sambhogakaya's wisdom and skill are perfected, and the Nirmanakaya emerges outward, accomplishing the benefit of beings. Just as bubbles scatter and gather in the ocean, and illusory images appear and are collected, the adornments and displays are shown as examples of gathering the essence of the nature of reality. From the Lion's Roar, in the union of sun and moon, the chapter on the examples of the three bodies, the twenty-first. Alas! Bhagavan, Lord of compassion and skillful means, please explain the Nirmanakaya that guides beings. The command was given: From the great Dharmakaya, primordially pure, the example of showing the display of the two bodies. In the nature of reality, which is like the sky, awareness is clear like Manjushri, compassion arises like sunlight, for the six types of beings who are like the sick, confusion appears like darkness.
