That great bliss, of unequaled wisdom, From its own power arises from awareness, Dharma does not arise or change from elsewhere. Because of equality, there is no arrangement in awareness, Because of oneness, it is free from substance in all directions. Even the array of ornaments of the assembly, Because it abides in its own nature, there is no diminution. Because it abides spontaneously, it is not dedicated, Because it is primordially pure, it is nectar. The twelve acts of becoming are all-pervading, It is not grasped by superior intention. Thinking with the mind is the patron, The power of looking is the display. Because it has become visible, it is for accomplishment, That itself is perfect equipoise. Grasping for a moment is union, Becoming joyful is the samaya, By moving with the dance of skillful means, The non-dual union is offered. Not grasping, casting away is the torma, Because there is no action, it is all deeds, Having dispelled obstacles with non-conceptual wisdom, Not speaking, equipoise is the mantra. Offering to the lama and giving, Likewise, all merit too, If there is no power of unattached eye movement, Then doing so becomes a great bondage. Therefore, that reason, that itself, From that, it becomes an obscuration to do that. Thus, if one thinks that about that, In that, that itself has no accomplishment. Therefore, that itself arises as the cause of that, Therefore, that accomplishment is only that. Thus it was said, Everything also becomes a small vajra of space, not wavering from the essential meaning. The Bhagavan, glorious Samantabhadra, In the tantra equal to the expanse of space, The eighth chapter, which is the clear exposition of the view of the imperishable victory banner, which distinguishes and clarifies the meaning. Then, the hero Vajra, thus requested the Tathagata: Since the essence of all dharmas is spontaneously accomplished, In the self-arisen wisdom that is not sought, The path that appears like a ladder, Two, seven, and ten, and so on, The numbers appear as many, Due to the power of delusion of the assembled multitude, Please explain, O Sugata. Thus he requested. Then, the Bhagavan, glorious Samantabhadra, spoke thus to the hero Vajra: Cause and effect, action, path, taming, subsequent adherence, thoughts, etc., Knowing the meaning of Dzogchen yoga and from awareness, This straying place becomes an obscuration, listen to the truth of the assembled multitude. The very nature of mind is, The essence of all dharmas, without exception, is one, Unborn.

Due to purity, there is no obscuration. Due to being free from the path of practice, there is no error. Due to being spontaneously present from the beginning, there is no need to seek. The essence of all dharmas lies in the self-arisen bindu. Seeking from the cause and elaborating with proliferation causes obscuration. In the self-nature, self-arisen wisdom of all, seeking elsewhere and confusing with numerical distinctions. Inferior confusion causes error and obscuration. In the essence where cause and effect are inseparable, the taste is one. In the very nature of conceptualization, the two aspects, striving outwards to seek the essence of self. Obscured for many eons by the grounds and perfections. Likewise, the three purities of inner and outer conceptualization, and the limbs of the causes and miracles of enlightenment, obscuring children with confusions such as the seven creations. Cause and effect, high and low, view and conduct are like holes. Likewise, the time of the three vows and other conditions deteriorate. In one essence, happiness and suffering, acceptance and rejection are two. Because the one is not seen, acceptance and rejection obscure the essence. In the self-arisen essence, the nature of all, liberation, the seal, is the purity of self-nature. Striving for three, etc., from the self-arisen one. Turning away from the effortlessness of the teachings, and the pith instructions of awareness. In the essence of self-aware, clear wisdom, focusing on the sphere and wisdom as cause and effect. Superimposing imputations on the cause, and slandering the effect. The faith that is free from these is completely obscured. Desiring non-existent results, such as the six desires. Empty of the two truths and able to establish. Likewise, the order of purification, striving for the desired meaning. The limbs of view and conduct are incomplete in the same way. Because of gradual effort on oneself, craving various things. Grasping cause and effect as inherently empty. These gradually produce the desired result. Six errors and six obscurations. Since errors and obscurations of bodhicitta are faults, it is said that the six certain attainments eliminate faults and qualities. Although the confused errors and obscurations are immeasurable in conceptualization, like relying on a nearby place as a support, the corresponding nearby obstacles should be clarified. Obscurations also exist in the two, conceptualization and action. The two, grasping and grasper, are the basis, view and conduct are errors and obscurations. Acceptance and rejection, the agent, effort, and the four aspects of cause and effect. In the part of effortless bliss, all effort, self-arisen wisdom is like the sky. The object of view and the boundary of protecting vows, and the agent, effort, conduct, desired object, and activity.
