Without seeking action, abide; the very nature of abiding is yoga. The distinctions of the four yogas are such that each can be divided into four. Observing the four distinctions of Bodhisattva Yoga: a mind that does not discriminate between objects and faculties, therefore it is called Bodhisattva Yoga. Producing Bodhi blessings and miracles, this is called Maha Yoga. Possessing the four Great Mudras, this is said to be Perfect Yoga. Viewing wisdom vows as without inherent existence, Deep Yoga is the intention of the Bodhisattva. Yoga without acceptance or rejection is the first. Maha Yoga is divided into four: First, the Bodhisattva with the three aspects of Samadhi, is called Bodhisattva Yoga. Viewing wisdom with self-nature purity, this is taught as Maha Yoga. The complete perfection of the four stages of generation, this is taught as Perfect Yoga. Viewing everything as the nature of the Great Lord, this is taught as Deep Yoga. Effortlessly and spontaneously merging into space. Observing the four distinctions of Perfect Yoga: not generating my body through sequential meditation, because all dharmas are thought to be pure in their self-nature, this is called Bodhisattva Yoga. Not relying on the skillful means and wisdom of father and mother, but perfecting the mandala with essence alone, this is the intention of Maha Yoga. Practicing in the nature of phenomena that appear but are without inherent existence, is said to be Perfect Yoga. Because all phenomena that appear are viewed as the wisdom of cause, realm, and result, this is called Deep Yoga. Observing the four distinctions of Deep Yoga: with the Bodhicitta that is without acceptance or rejection, Bodhisattva Yoga is established. With the Bodhicitta that transcends effort and practice, the Great Bodhi that is free from effort is shown. The Bodhicitta that transcends cause and effect, this is called Perfect Yoga. Because from the beginning, addition and slander are abandoned, this is called Deep Yoga. The three, including Perfect Yoga, do not possess the greatness of self-born wisdom, therefore they travel on the path and practice on the ground. Guarding the conduct and view of vows.

deeds, walking fast or slow, seeing and acting are all absent. Therefore, the enjoyment of profound yoga is, from the very beginning, done by Samantabhadra. Hence, the path is not to be traveled, and the ground is not to be cultivated. Vows are not kept, and views and meditations are not practiced. Because great enlightenment arises from the path, in the nature of enlightenment itself, enlightenment itself is not practiced. In the nature of wisdom itself, wisdom itself is not practiced. Because the nature of vows is enlightenment itself, in enlightenment itself, enlightenment itself is not kept. Because the nature of meditation is enlightenment itself, in enlightenment itself, there is nothing to meditate on. Because the object of view is enlightenment itself, in enlightenment itself, there is no seeing of enlightenment itself. This profound yoga, without seeing or acting, is the self-arisen wisdom, not to be sought, which is that very nature. Whatever thing, with whatever, and of whatever, its own essence does not depend on another. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Khasa Manda, equal to the edge of space, the sixth chapter, which briefly shows the four yogas. Then, the Bhagavan, glorious Samantabhadra, spoke thus: O great-hearted one, without abandoning the five stains of desire, Samantabhadra is the unsurpassed ultimate meaning. Whoever desires to encounter the essence of Bodhi, hold this body of me, Samantabhadra. Dharma is all appearances and sounds, internal and external, non-conceptual, old, self-arisen, and primordially existent. Cause and effect, scriptures and practices, contemplate this. The two truths are inseparable, spontaneously accomplished from the beginning. If one accepts or rejects one, both acceptance and rejection occur. The inferior truth is nowhere to be found. The self-arisen essence, what is that suchness? One nature does not exist; one is empty by one. Two natures do not exist; two are empty by two. In three, there is no three; in four, empty by four. In five, it does not exist; in six, empty by six. In seven, it does not exist; in eight, empty by eight. Likewise in nine, and in ten, numerical limits, etc. The suchness of numbers, the place of others, is thus empty. Numerical distinctions, things do not exist; numbers, etc., are thus. All are empty, all forms are transcended. The nature of things is always free from permanence. From the self-arisen, great perfection, the essence of my own nature, the gradual entry of wisdom differs from other vehicles. Grasping things, thinking and not thinking occur. Desires, grasping, effort, all of them are empty. All.
