Without location. Abiding primordially like the uncontrived sky, it cannot be counted as one, transcending the realm of objects. Bodhicitta cannot be counted or expressed. Whatever phenomena arise from the actions of the mind, wherever they are made, where do they appear? The appearing world, its contents, Buddhas, and sentient beings all arise in the essence of clear awareness. When that nature is manifested, what appears? The five great elements are the appearance of the six realms, and their benefit, the two form bodies, are shown as manifestations of the mind. Thus it is said. Then, the great Bodhisattva spoke as follows: Initially, upon arousing Bodhicitta, not understanding oneself and phenomena, gathered in the retinue of Samantabhadra, because of not experiencing the object of inquiry and appearance, Samantabhadra himself bestowed teachings, phenomena gathered into one, does it appear in this great treatise of the mind? Showing one and two, how is this named sutra? Thus asked. Great Bodhisattva, listen! Alas! I am spontaneously accomplished from the beginning. I am the essence of spontaneous accomplishment of all Buddhas. I am the nature of great compassion, whatever and whatever pleases them, for the sake of accomplishing whatever meaning, please show me the meaning of my actions. Whatever is dominated by whatever, whatever pleases whatever, for the sake of phenomena gathering into one, the self-born Bodhicitta nature is shown. In the number of names, it is joyful to connect them. Whatever lacks whatever in it, whatever pleases them, whatever I have done, those and those various things, are inexpressible, those are shown. That also shows my nature. One is my own essence, two arise, various things are done by me. In the sutra of numbers, although separated from all, one and two and countless are accomplished. The limit is inexpressible, beyond words. The inexpressible essence is shown as one. One is the all-creating Bodhicitta. The created phenomena are two forms. Showing the nature of cause and effect. With the two truths, conventional and ultimate, three examples, meanings, proofs, and reasons, the two doors of definitive and provisional meanings are explained. The cause is the five great elements. The result is sentient beings of the three realms. Sentient beings of the three realms are connected by cause and conditions, the result is named Buddha, cause and effect, example and meaning are established there. Those are the straight teachings explained.

It should be divided into two types. The five great elements are caused by causes and conditions, All conditioned dharmas, The nature of mind is self-arisen and manifest. Not realizing suchness, Due to ignorance, wrong thoughts, and clinging, Determining and examining the six objects of dharma, The six destructions and six supports, Are called the world. Based on the six objects and six attachments, The inferior suffering and sorrow, Are called grief. Being separated from that, The six objects are impermanent, The six conditions do not go elsewhere clearly, Because of transcending the six sufferings, It is called Nirvana. As it is, without seeking the essence of enlightenment, The self-arisen manifestation, The five great elements and all conditioned appearances, Seem to hold their own characteristics. Likewise, the essence of enlightenment also, Objectless nature, without effort, Seems to follow and hold the characteristics. The self-manifested five great elements, Make the essence of generating all dharmas, The sentient beings born from it, Without thinking that it is the self-born I, Looking at it as the path of practice, They believe that there are cause, effect, and result. It is named as cause, The obtained result is said to be the vehicle. Abandoning, obstacles, purification, and so on, The cause without action, effort, cessation, and accomplishment, Is named as result. The essence is said to be the result from the cause. From the essence of self-nature, From the nature of no birth and death, Entering the immutable Vajra. The wisdom of body, speech, and mind, The mudra, support, and supported blaze. The essence is emptiness, The mudra is its conventional truth, Abandoning, taking, acting, striving, desire, purification, Free from the conceptualization of the two truths. The stages of mind, the essence of function is accomplished, Like the self-nature realm and wisdom. Not relying on anything, not seeking others, The essence of motivation arises from oneself. With the immovable and complete samadhi, Naturally effortless, transcending activity, Without effort, arranging the activity of bliss. Three kalpas and seven lifetimes, Six months, one year, sixteen months, Making effort with the place and time, Acting and striving is the artificial vehicle. Showing the meaning of the unconditioned true reality, Without effort, spontaneously accomplishing, abiding in bliss. There is nothing incomplete in this, One complete, all complete, completely complete, Activity is perfectly complete.
