The self is the meaning that cannot be expressed otherwise. Nothing relies on anything else to clarify it. The view of Madhyamaka is: To consider it as illusion and Yogic practice. The view of seeing everything as illusion is: To consider all appearances and consciousness as mere illusion. All these external things, In reality, there is no self-nature established. It is neither existent, nor non-existent, nor in between. It is merely conventionally existent like the moon in water. The view of Yogachara is: To consider all dharmas as emptiness. Not considering it as existent, not considering it as non-existent, not considering anything. Thus it is said. From the "Precious Illuminating Light". Chapter Seven, which explains the view of Madhyamaka. The gathering hero Vajra asked: Teacher, Great Secret Lord, How do you view the tenets of the Action Tantra and the Twofold Yoga? The Teacher, Great Secret Lord, replied to the gathering hero Vajra: Explaining the tenets of Kriya is: On the knowledge of awareness of the limb's appearance, All these conventional appearances, Are considered to be the mandala appearance of the deities of the three families. It is seen that the ultimate is the purity of the three aspects. External purity is bathing, auspicious times. Internal purity is food, fasting, excretion. Material purity is that the utensils are not defiled. Explaining the tenets of Upaya is: On the appearance of the limb's awareness, It is considered the mandala of the four wisdom deities conventionally. From the four consciousnesses, they are considered as the deities of the four families. Then it is considered that self-nature is without arising or ceasing. Explaining the tenets of Yoga is: Because the self-nature of the essence's light is not realized, On the appearance of the limb's light awareness, It is considered the mandala of the five family deities conventionally. From the five consciousnesses, they are considered as the deities of the five families. The ultimate is that self-nature is without arising or ceasing. Thus it is said. From the "Precious Illuminating Light". Chapter Eight, which explains the tenets of Kriya, Upaya, and Yoga. The gathering hero Vajra asked: Teacher, Great Secret Lord, How are the tenets of Maha Anu viewed? The Teacher, Great Secret Lord, replied to the gathering hero Vajra 523༄༅། : The tenets of Maha Yoga are: Because the self-nature of the essence's appearance is not known, On the appearance of the limb's light awareness, The appearance of the external, internal, and container-content world

It is considered to be both skillful means and wisdom. Outer environment and containers are considered to be the nature of skillful means, while inner environment and essence are considered to be the nature of wisdom. The nature of skillful means is the order of generation, and the nature of wisdom is considered to be the order of completion. The appearance of skillful means and wisdom as two is also the view of the union of appearance and emptiness, which are inseparable. The view of Anu Yoga is that because the nature of the appearance of essence is not understood, the appearance of the awareness of the limbs and rays is such that the outer world is the palace of the Dharmadhatu, and the inner essence is the nature of the deity. For the palace and the nature of the deity, it is considered that the Dharmadhatu and wisdom are inseparable. Thus it is said. From "The Manifestation of Jewels." The Ninth Chapter, Teaching the Deities of Maha Anu. Gatherer, the brave Bodhisattva Vajra, said to the teacher, the Great Secret Lord: How is it that the nature of the view of the vehicle is the deity, and the root of delusion is not understood? The teacher, the Great Secret Lord, said to the Gatherer, the Bodhisattva Vajra: The root of delusion of all vehicles is delusion, which is the nature of the two, essence and limbs. The appearance of the awareness of the limbs is considered to be the root of delusion, and the limbs are the basis of eternal non-Buddhists. The nature of permanence is the root of delusion, and it is confused between the two, cause and otherness. The delusion of the annihilationist view of non-Buddhists is that the five elements are gathered into one, and the sudden appearance of awareness is the basis of delusion. Separating the appearance of the body is considered delusion. The view of the root of delusion of the Hearers is that the essence and limbs exist in two, and for the way the awareness of the limbs arises, the subtle mind of awareness is the root of delusion. Considering the two, self and other, is delusion. Considering consciousness is the root of delusion. Ignorance, dependent origination, and the twelve branches are delusion. The delusion of the root of delusion of the Mind-Only school is that the essence and limbs appear as two, and the appearance of the awareness of the limbs is clear. Self-awareness and self-illumination are considered the root of delusion. Appearing as the two, grasper and grasped, is considered delusion. The view of the root of delusion of the Middle Way school is that the limbs of the essence exist, and for the consciousness of the awareness of the limbs, considering emptiness after decomposition is the root of delusion. The two truths of conventionality are delusion. The root of delusion of Kriya is considered to be the two, essence and limbs.
