Secrecy must be kept as a vow, and it will immediately be proclaimed and revealed, its characteristics being the same. If the teacher does not act according to the teachings, and the disciple does not listen to the instructions, no matter how one practices secret matters, it will be like a story and of no benefit. Thus it is specifically stated. From the tantra of the arrangement of Samaya, the king of all vows, the chapter showing the faults of misusing secret meanings, the twenty-sixth chapter is completed. The great-hearted one who guards the secret of vows, page 465, the wish-fulfilling jewel that knows the meaning and use, is rarer and more precious than jewels. Placing it in a box, honoring and making offerings, is like generating all desired joy. If the great yogi, skilled in means, keeps these in mind and uses them well, what need is there to say that all needs will be naturally accomplished in this world, and all the accomplishments of the future world will also be accomplished in the present. Becoming the successor of all victors, becoming the son of all Buddhas, all the mother goddesses of the retinue, the dakinis, and all those who have taken vows, listening to all instructions, taking the dust of their feet on the crown of their heads, all secrets will be endowed with blessings, therefore it is said thus. The yogi who is diligent and endowed, the number of Buddhas of the ten directions and three times, the Buddhas as numerous as dust particles in a single dust particle, reciting their names and prostrating, the three thousand great thousand worlds, filled with jewels, day and night six times, etc., offering to the victors, is superior to those who know the principles of vows. To the deities and the teacher, brothers and sisters, with unwavering faith and love, offering this medicine offering, is superior to giving away flesh and blood without hesitation to limitless sentient beings. Therefore, to the deities, teacher, brothers and sisters, even offering a mouthful of food is highly praised. Similarly, offering the body and possessions, and all that one has, goes without saying. If one does not lose the love of the moment, then its merits are beyond words. Similarly, if one wants the vow to become great, love and respect will become great. Lack of faith and stinginess will become small, and even the faults of the past and the deities will be lost. Cleansing the dirt of the body can purify, confessing the dirt of sins can eliminate, meditating on the suffering of clinging and discrimination can dispel, the obscurations of broken vows.

Pana ra kana. The mind is focused on the yidam deity. Whatever is desired is offered to the teacher himself. Half of the remainder and half of that, if offered to spiritual friends, bliss blazes. Attachment and miserliness are the diseases of suffering. Non-attachment is the combining elixir medicine. Not listening to advice, having limits is the cause of decline. Listening to the command is the samaya. For all desired enjoyments, also making the offering to oneself, offer it to the teacher and spiritual friends. By that, it will not decline, and even if it declines, it will be fulfilled. Material enjoyments and the assembly of faith, when offering to others, if taking one offering for oneself, even if guarded, it will decline and not be fulfilled. A person whose secret is decayed is like the poisonous breath of a naga, wherever he arrives, he destroys. Those untrue things should be abandoned. Having the secret instruction of being able to keep secrets, like extracting a hidden treasure by skillful means, whoever meets will be satisfied, therefore it is appropriate to redeem without valuing. Being a teacher without secrets and being a student without capacity, like raw meat, both are ruined. Dying prematurely, falling into hell. A teacher of pure secrets and a student endowed with capacity, like gold and jewels, qualities are inexhaustible, increasing more and more. Not acting in accordance with the scriptures, and not placing truth in the mind, whoever practices secret mantra, is like sowing seeds in barren soil. Thus, the pure secret is spoken. From the Tantra of Arranging Samaya, the chapter on teaching the pure secret, the twenty-seventh, is complete. Furthermore, great Bodhisattva, recite the mantra's samaya without error, meditate on the samaya of samadhi without distraction, guard the secret samaya without decay, seek the samaya of activity without attachment, protect the secret samaya without forgetting, that is secret mantra. That is samaya. That is nectar. That is Buddha. If done secretly, it is easy to enter. If done carefully, the blessing is great. Because the blessing is great, it is a Buddha not eaten by demons. Great Bodhisattva, if the mantra's samaya is recited erroneously, then the power and blessing of natural accomplishment will not arise. If the samaya of samadhi is distracted by fabrication and mixed with dullness, then the great wisdom of self-awareness will not arise. If the samaya of conduct decays, then in the terrifying place of the Vajra Hell, even the merit of the gods will not prevail.
