For those who have firm faith in Bodhicitta and have no discrimination towards the objects of vows, they should always rely on the consort with signs, then grant the secret empowerment. For those who understand all the Tantras, and whose practice of activities is complete and ultimate, for the great Vajra King, grant the empowerment of all teachings. For the true meaning of oral transmissions and instructions that are as precious as the heart, tell everything, and after hearing and realizing it, make the Guru happy, for such a disciple, grant the empowerment of the general collection of royal methods. For those who possess all wealth and enjoyment, and are able to benefit all beings, grant the empowerment of the life of Vidyadhara. For those who do not damage the vows and limbs, recite mantras diligently and bravely, have meaning and perform fierce activities, for those who have bravery and diligence, grant the empowerment to protect the Dharma. It is also said by whom the object of empowerment should be done, for the excellent consort who has shame and great wisdom, and is auspicious in nine ways, after searching and finding her, take her from the right hand and offer her to the Lama like this: Emaho! Lord of all Yogis, holder of the Vajra body, the king who attains great freedom by means of skillful means, the king of self who does not abandon everything, for all great enjoyments, enjoy with the adornment of Dharma nature, please accept this non-dual great consort, with the empowerment of the non-dual Bodhicitta of skillful means and wisdom, and the accomplishments of Padma Rakta, please grant them to the Yogi me. Then it was said how the one who receives the empowerment should find his consort: view and practice are in harmony, thoughts are the same, holding love, a clear friend, a consort with signs, a lovely woman, with a beautiful and well-proportioned appearance, adorned with all the ornaments, body, speech and mind bathed, after cleaning inside and out, apply fragrant perfume to the body, decorate with beautiful silk fluttering, after making it pleasing, be greedy without hindrance, and make it the secret lord. That is the Kingship succession of empowerment, which must be sought from the scriptures. If those are not found, what does my guru know? If he knows those, that is also the Kingship succession of empowerment. Furthermore, the Kingship succession of empowerment is that the guru has a son, whose qualities are similar to the guru's, it would be best if those exist. Furthermore, whatever verbal instructions the guru and Acharya give regarding the Kingship succession, that is also the Kingship succession of empowerment. If the conduct does not match those, and those qualities are completely absent, even if all other qualities are present, one should not be made the Kingship successor of empowerment. I definitely and truthfully declare. My and the guru's consorts, if they possess those conduct and qualities, anyone is fine. Royal lineage, Brahmin lineage, commoner lineage, as well as low lineage, Chandala's consort, anyone who possesses those qualities is fine. If combined in nine ways, one can obtain empowerment, and through the signs of accomplishment, become supreme. If there are no signs and marks of the scriptures, whether royal lineage or Brahmin lineage, even if all other qualities are present, one should not be made the consort of empowerment. I definitely and truthfully declare. Furthermore, one's own mother and consort, should not be superior to others, without the spear scar of a Rakshasi, a young girl should know. She has the supreme sign of empowerment. The actions of the nine things, I have not shown Samantabhadra. Equality is not in that scripture. The demonstration of the characteristic principles of karma, actions and deeds should be upright, activities should be completely unobstructed, one must obtain the guru's instructions, in the past, having obtained the status of empowerment, instructions for acting well without contradiction, protecting the secret mandala, is called the karma of empowerment. Furthermore, the karma of empowerment is, being intelligent in all things, especially skilled in the affairs of activities, that is the karma of empowerment. Being gentle and obedient to commands, able to please the minds of others.
