因为想要获得，所以首先要讲述这个法。因此，想要灌顶并获得，应该给什么样的具相的弟子灌顶呢？应该从什么样的灌顶师那里接受灌顶呢？应该以什么作为灌顶的对境呢？应该如何进行灌顶的仪轨和事业呢？灌顶需要什么物品呢？应该如何绘制灌顶的坛城呢？应该如何供养灌顶的供品呢？灌顶的念诵和修持应该持续多少天呢？应该给予什么样的灌顶信物呢？应该在什么时间灌顶呢？灌顶的必要性等十一项需要说明。那么，应该给什么样的具相的弟子灌顶呢？首先，应该由上师来寻找。如经文所说：自性善良如虚空，行为善良如大地，誓言无畏如虚空般守护，见解毫不造作地持有，身语意三者没有间隙，以丰厚的供养来引导，内外密续全部，听闻并了知，成为可靠的，对于没有狡诈的瑜伽士，应该灌顶任何殊胜的灌顶。灌顶的次第是，与供养结合起来灌顶也可以。或者，灌顶的次第是，内外密续全部，听闻并且精通为主，就对那样的灌顶进行讲述。知道并且掌握也好，没有掌握也好，想要听闻所有密咒续部，就对那样的灌顶给予听闻的灌顶。瑜伽士需要殊胜的言语，念诵难以显现意义，就对那样的灌顶给予修持的灌顶。不被喧嚣所扰，喜欢寂静，对于本尊神恒常安住，就对那样的灌顶也给予修持的灌顶。事业和供养正直，没有错谬，智慧持有意义，就对那样的灌顶给予事业的灌顶。持有善良心续的，就对那样的灌顶给予更高的灌顶。对于没有分别念的，就对那样的灌顶给予无执的灌顶。如果知道断除烦恼的方法，就对那样的灌顶给予度脱的灌顶。对于五蕴智慧明亮有力的，就对那样的灌顶给予力量的灌顶。对于持有远离慈悲的威力的，就对那样的灌顶给予世系的灌顶。智慧具足相好，眼长，牙齿洁白，如同红色的丝线，额头的...

Because one wants to obtain, this Dharma should be explained first. Therefore, wanting to empower and obtain, what kind of qualified disciple should be empowered? From what kind of Vajra Master should one receive empowerment? What should be the object of empowerment? How should the empowerment ritual and activities be performed? What items are needed for empowerment? How should the empowerment mandala be drawn? How should the empowerment offerings be presented? How many days should the empowerment recitation and practice last? What kind of empowerment symbol should be given? At what time should the empowerment be given? The necessity of empowerment and eleven items need to be explained. So, what kind of qualified disciple should be empowered? First, the teacher should search. As the scripture says: The nature is good like the sky, the behavior is good like the earth, the vows are fearless, protected like the sky, the view is held without fabrication, body, speech, and mind are without gaps, guided by abundant offerings, all inner and outer tantras, having heard and known, become reliable, for the yogi without deceit, whatever supreme empowerment there is should be given. The order of empowerment is, it is also okay to empower combined with offerings. Or, the order of empowerment is, all inner and outer tantras, hearing and being proficient is the main thing, then the empowerment that is explained should be given. Whether one knows and grasps or does not grasp, if one wants to hear all the secret mantra tantras, then give the empowerment of hearing to that. Yogis need supreme speech, recitation is difficult to manifest meaning, then give the empowerment of meditation to that. Not distracted by noise, liking solitude, constantly abiding in the Yidam deity, then give the empowerment of meditation to that as well. Activities and offerings are upright, without error, wisdom holds meaning, then give the empowerment of activities to that. Holding a mind of good intention, then give the higher empowerment to that. For those without discrimination, then give the empowerment of non-attachment to that. If one knows the method of cutting off afflictions, then give the empowerment of liberation to that. For the clear and powerful strength of the five aggregates of wisdom, then give the empowerment of strength to that. For those who hold the power of being free from compassion, then give the empowerment of lineage to that.
