With the key of words, open the door of the treasure of jewels, to show the unerring meaning, therefore, the meaning of words is arranged. The very essence of unerring meaning, this ear-transmitted illusory key, is the secret of all without exception, because it is a treasure hidden in nine layers, for those obscured by evil karma, to show the treasure of the unerring mind, like a chain falling into the abyss, falling and separated from the lineage of liberation. Thus it is said. From the great tantra equal to the edge of the sky, the chapter on explaining the key, which is the thirty-first. Then, again, to the heart-hero Vajra, the holy one, the assembled gathering entreated thus: All the victors of the three times, the secret wheel of wisdom's treasure, proclaim in the wheel of unobstructed self-appearance. We entreat you, protector, what is the intrinsic nature? How do they become conditions? What is the method of symbolizing? What is the nature of the path? How can it be symbolized by analogy? Please explain to us. Thus they entreated. Then, the heart-hero Vajra declared thus: Listen, assembled gathering, the nature of the Bodhisattva, is the essence of the assembled without exception, one taste, different aspects, beyond expression. Like the unrisen sun and moon mandala, complete in its own various meanings. Superimposition and defamation are empty from the beginning. It is the essence of the Vajra without exception, that is the self-perfected nature of the three kayas. The unmade three kayas are spontaneously accomplished. Like a jewel-burning island, like seeing and not seeing, unchanging. The secret nature is unchanging. Mind and the cause and condition maker, are spontaneously accomplished because they are without beginning. It is the speech of the essence of awareness without exception. The sound of the very nature of all liberation. The nature of all phenomena without exception, is complete in the nature of abiding in its own nature. Wherever the arising of conditions is explained, the ultimate conditions of outer and inner. The lama who possesses all qualities, is the condition that makes it clear. The person separated from them, is like a treasure separated from ear-transmission. If there is no original arising of conditions in one's own place, it is like entering an empty treasure house. Until the edge of space, separated from the meaning of the essence of liberation. By showing the method of what to whom, all appearances of existence and peace are like illusions, it is a clear mirror.

Having become. Whatever one looks at, one sees only that. For the yogi who possesses skillful means, appearance and existence arise as a lamp. For the yogi who is free from symbols, wisdom abides without arising or ceasing. Self-cause is liberated in itself, like ripples in water. Although everything appears, it is of one taste, like the differences of the senses. If one does not possess the means of clarifying, like a confused person, one will not be liberated from suffering. Through the distinction of lineage and direct perception, it is taught through the door of the true Consort. Understand at the time of the first projection. Also, know the three projections. The very moment of abandoning action, and the perfection of meeting the mind, and the senses meeting the mind and blazing, and the completion from the three wondrous bodies, are the great means of manifest clarity. Whatever contrived representation arises from the distinctions of the vehicle, the means of contrivance for the uncomprehending are taught, and the enjoyment of comprehension is self-arising. However many contrivances there may be, they are threefold: contriving conceptualization with comprehension, contriving with illusory wisdom, and contriving with great bliss illusion. The doors of contrived means and union are shown in the manner of five, two, and three. The lamp abiding within and without is the yoga of teaching and pervading, the suchness of being separate from object and mind. For oneself, whatever object arises clearly in accordance with experience and subsequent, is the instruction of abandoning the object of focus, liberated into the expanse of self-arising emptiness. Whatever is perceived in whatever conduct, is the yoga of mixing inner and outer, wherever the uncontrived original state is placed, abiding in the unwavering, stable yoga. The self-arising, beautiful, unspoken sound, listening within oneself, is heard by oneself. The awareness of the three times becomes stable, and ultimately is liberated into the state of essence. Initially, in the absence of partiality, whatever is seen by focusing the senses, is the unseen vajra essence itself, abiding in the sphere free from accumulation and dissipation. For the distracted individual, the instruction of focusing awareness is taught. Once one becomes accustomed to one-pointedness and becomes stable, one will be liberated by self-arising relaxation. Wherever the awareness of experience arises, mixed with experience and appearance, the awareness being complete and unwavering, is the instruction of the unchanging mudra. Initially, having arisen, experience it. Through habituation, realize that and turn away from attachment. Abiding in the unsearched, relaxed state, possessing great bliss without habitual tendencies. The flow goes inward.
