Also appears. One but not permanent, Ultimate oneness gathers all. Two but not mixed, Spreads throughout the vast nine. Does not hold to directions, does not separate lineages, Does not conceive of duality, does not hold to pride, Subtle throughout, yet without doubt, Consistent with all, in accord with meaning, Knowing as self, gathering others, Is the Buddha, great from the beginning. The Buddha, great from the beginning, Is not sought but realized, Not accomplished but abiding, Not other but self, Not self but not other, Not other, nor direction or lineage, Not power but blessing, Not emanation but using one skill. Afflictions unseen, the manner of gathering and dispersing, Shows everything, yet shows nothing, Appears however, yet is nowhere, Examines however, yet is nothing. Not non-existent, but remembering and knowing, Not ceased, knowing and realizing, Not permanent, without substance, Not dual, without permanence, Not one, pervading all. Without a cause for the first arising, Therefore, there is no final death or change. Now, since things have no substance, There is no permanent attachment or grasping. Since samsara is like an illusion, There is no real happiness, suffering, good, or bad. Impermanent suffering is like a dream. Whatever is examined is mistaken. Having examined, there is not even one dharma. It is not non-existent, but only awareness. Water flows into the ocean. The Buddha arises from awareness. Dharma is the unconditioned dharma. The sign is the clear sign without mixture. Meaning is the unchanging meaning. Thus attained is called Buddha, Said to be great from the beginning. O yogi, realize this, Blessed One! Know it and abide in it. The Buddha is great from the beginning! Whoever is a yogi, If he realizes this greatness of the Buddha, He should seek it in this chapter. In the great all-good, from the continuum of self-abiding, the twentieth chapter, the Great Buddha from the Beginning, is complete. Then, he spoke these words about sentient beings being great from the beginning. Before there were sentient beings, There was no name for Buddha. This is the teaching of the meaning of Sentient beings being great from the beginning. In the measure of arising, the sky is great, In the measure of dharmata, the dharma-possessor is great, Since the Buddha creates sentient beings, Therefore, sentient beings are the mother of the Buddha, Since all Buddhas arise from this, Therefore,

In general, sentient beings are the father of the Buddha. The Buddhas of the past, Are also the sentient beings of the past. The Buddhas who dwell now, Are also the sentient beings who dwell now. The Buddhas who will come in the future, Are also the sentient beings who will come in the future. Therefore, the Buddha is made of sentient beings, The Buddha is greater than sentient beings. After examining, all sentient beings are one. The oneness of sentient beings is the Dharmakaya. The Dharmakaya is also sentient beings. Examining sentient beings, there is no entity. Without entity is the Dharmadhatu. The Dharmadhatu is also sentient beings. Understanding sentient beings, one can understand clearly. Clear understanding is wisdom. Wisdom itself is also sentient beings. Is the place where all Buddhas arise. Therefore, the Buddha has no sentient beings. The Buddha shows various manifestations. Therefore, sentient beings are the sons of the Buddha. The body, speech, and mind of sentient beings in the three realms, Is the space of the three existences. The ultimate meaning of sentient beings in the six realms, Limitless sentient beings are the supreme of the path. Whoever knows the king of methods, He is the Dharmakaya with complete meaning. For those who know the meaning of unborn wisdom, He is the one who holds the uncreated instructions. For the sentient being of the self-born king, The king of awareness, clear knowledge arises. The aggregates play in the great bindu, The completely pure bliss expands. In the clarity of the six sense spheres samadhi, Clearly show the development and contraction of methods. For the example shown, similarly, Similarly, by showing sentient beings as an example, The great bliss instruction arises. By examining with purity, everything is pure. By thinking with realization, anything can be accomplished. In the vast sky of view, Without grasping thoughts, the light expands, Nothing is abandoned, naturally accomplished. In limitless wisdom, The space of no birth expands, Know in the completely pure Dharmadhatu. Unprecedented, unborn, no birth. Establishing the term of no birth, Like grasping at the illusory sky. Because these do not appear as signs, Those with little wisdom will become confused. Even with words, it deviates from the meaning. The instructions cannot be fully understood. Anyone with weak wisdom, Believing in fabricated Dharma, Like a blind man taking the wrong path, Will surely fall into a steep abyss. Therefore, this definite supreme vehicle, Should not be shown to those with low wisdom. It will not bring meaning, but will slander. Anyone who contradicts the Buddha's words
