萨。如何确定错觉显现之法。如是说。珍宝光明剃刀从根斩断错觉，与虚空同等之续中。如何确定错觉之法，第五品。阿塔巴日萨嘎达亚。贝玛拉巴帝。班杂阿巴嘎达达亚纳。瓦库比日比里伊巴拉亚。阿拉阿提姆嘎伊。此后金刚萨埵。向普贤请教如是说。上述错觉之错觉显现。错觉之根如何斩断。如是请问。 象征导师普贤。安住于珍宝合一无别之禅定中。此后导师普贤。起身向眷属如是说。我将讲述斩断错觉显现之法。金刚萨埵谛听。阿塔巴帝阿嘎萨。巴瓦阿利冈冈阿。斩断错觉之根之方法是。根器有上中下三种。彼之斩断之方法所示。上等根器之斩断方法是。根基二元对立断除即可。根基断除则错觉断除。根本意义知晓则无错觉。毒性认识则毒根断除。譬如黑色的哈拉毒。咒语和方便具足者食用。不死反而变成药物。如是错觉之根错觉显现亦。根基错觉从根断除则不跟随。自生智慧融入自性中。能断所断二者无别故。错觉之根的错觉显现从根斩断。中等根器之斩断方式是。根基是遍一切处之精华。不加名相从根断除。于一切处寻找错觉之心。于根基上必须断除戏论。根基是本来安住的。不增不减断除戏论。动摇心识念头是暂时的。根基上没有故断除戏论。根基是超离心识不可表示的。错觉是思说分别之语。表示说和思皆超越从根断除。根基是阿赖耶识。遍一切处无实有从根断除。错觉是五光五大。自性根基上不成立。是自性显现故从根断除。力量和光芒及遍布三者。是能量显现故从根断除。支分和体性和儿子三者。是无边无际故从根断除。觉知和明和无明三者。是错觉之因是

Sa. How to ascertain the manner of delusion and deluded appearances. Thus it was said. From the tantra, "The Jewel-like Luminous Razor Cutting Through Deluded Appearances from the Root, Equal to Space." The fifth chapter: How to Ascertain the Manner of Delusion. Then Vajrasattva asked Samantabhadra, "How are the deluded appearances of the aforementioned delusion cut from the root?" Samantabhadra, the symbolic teacher, remained in the samadhi of the indivisible union of preciousness. Then, the teacher Samantabhadra arose and spoke to the assembly, "I will explain how to cut through deluded appearances from the root. Vajrasattva, listen and understand. The method for cutting through the root of delusion is threefold: superior, middling, and inferior intellects. The method for cutting through them will be shown. The method for cutting through for those of superior intellect is simply to sever the root of duality. By severing the root, delusion is severed. Understanding the fundamental meaning, there is no delusion. If one recognizes poison, the root of poison is severed. For example, if someone with mantra and skillful means eats the black poison of hala, they will not die but will instead be transformed into medicine. Likewise, the root of delusion and deluded appearances, if the root delusion is severed from the root, it will not follow. By dissolving into the state of self-arisen wisdom, there is no duality of what is to be cut and what cuts. The deluded appearances of the root of delusion are cut from the root. The method of cutting for those of middling intellect is that the basis is the all-pervading essence. Without applying names, cut it from the root. The mind that seeks delusion everywhere must sever elaboration on the basis. The basis is primordially abiding. Without change, sever elaboration. Wavering thoughts and concepts are temporary. Since they are not on the basis, sever elaboration. The basis is beyond mind and without representation. Delusion is the words of thought, speech, and concept. Sever representation, speech, and thought from the root. The basis is the alaya consciousness. Sever all-pervading non-existence from the root. Delusion is the five lights and the five elements. They are not established on the basis of their own nature. Since they are manifestations of energy, sever them from the root. The three, power, rays, and pervasiveness, are manifestations of energy, so sever them from the root. The three, branches, characteristics, and offspring, are without limit, so sever them from the root. The three, knowledge, awareness, and ignorance, are the cause of delusion.

Completely cut off! Mind, wind, and consciousness, are the causes of delusion, completely cut off! The three that are not the gates of delusion, the unclear three, are the times of delusion, completely cut off! Holding onto self where there is no self, holding onto truth where there is no truth, holding onto permanence where there is no permanence, these three are the nature of delusion, completely cut off! Mind, intellect, and habitual tendencies, are the ways of delusion, completely cut off! Lineage body, light body, flesh body, these three are the results of delusion, completely cut off! Mirage, worms, and shimmering heat, these three are examples of delusion, completely cut off! The seven inverted impurities, the seven delusions completely cut off! The way to cut off the final sense faculties is, by completely cutting off the basis of delusion, without fabrication, corruption, increase, decrease, cause, or condition. There is no change, seeking, or alteration. Without substance, uncorrected, spontaneously accomplished. Not dependent on sudden phenomena. The meaning of uncorrected, uncorrupted, and unsought, is liberation from the mind with attachment. Therefore, the basis of delusion is completely cut off! Co-emergent ignorance, is the basis of the afflicted mind. Self-luminous, precious, blazing with light, dissolving into the expanse of self-arisen essence. By what is delusion, the appearance of delusion, and the basis of delusion, ignorance, cut off? The knowledge of arising afflictions, is the basis of the mind's consciousness. Without wind, without mind, without consciousness, the causes of delusion are completely cut off! The arising consciousness of mind, is the basis of the five sense consciousnesses. The gate of manifestation is great wisdom, and the clear essence is transparent wisdom. The times of delusion are completely cut off! Seeing the meaning of truth, without doubt. Object and mind are non-dual, free from grasping and being grasped. Without the two extremes of permanence and annihilation, clear and pure. Without holding onto self or untruth, the nature of delusion is completely cut off! Without mind, without intellect, without habitual tendencies, the ways of delusion are completely cut off! Without cause, without condition, without form, these three are the results of delusion, completely cut off! Without basis, without delusion, without doubt, whatever the examples of delusion are, completely cut off! In the light, there is no desire, dissolving into the expanse. The delusion of gods in the desire realm is completely cut off! In the light, there is no form, dissolving into the expanse of the nature of reality. The delusion of gods in the form realm is completely cut off! Realizing the meaning of abiding, dissolving into the expanse. The delusion of gods in the formless realm is completely cut off! Meeting with the mother of reality, there is no hatred, of hell.
