Companions and self are one. By continuously generating deities and making offerings, how can one realize the ultimate truth? If realized, then the deity is the conventional truth, because the ultimate truth is unconditioned. Generating deities and making offerings is illusory. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Great Severance of View, the Roar of the Lion, the thirteenth chapter, which shows self-appearing delusion as external. The ultimate nature of reality is the nature of space. From the nature of reality, which is unborn, the five kinds of magical displays are considered delusions. That is also because one has not realized the activity. Because one says, "The nature of reality is unborn," the vow of the magical display of arising is violated. When experiencing arising, the wisdom deity becomes conditioned. If not experienced, how can one say arising? What arises will eventually perish, therefore the color of the body will also perish. Because what arises is conditioned, who knows arising without experiencing it? If one says the ultimate truth is unborn, is that saying it is unborn after experiencing it? Because experience is abiding after arising, how can one say unborn? If not experienced, how does one know it is unborn? If one says one knows through scripture and reasoning, if one says awareness is like space, because space is unborn, where will the accumulation of the body arise? If it arises, then the vow of unborn is violated. If one says it arises from the unborn, then one is clearly revealing it with one's own words. From what has arisen, a son will also arise. Thus it is said. The chapter on severing the view of illusion, the fourteenth chapter. After that, the true should be declared. With the reasoning that one has realized oneself, the realm and wisdom are non-dual, the body and wisdom appear as the body. If one says it arises from the blessings of the three rituals and the mandala, that is also a bad view, because one has not realized the basis of the three dharmas. For that, the wisdom of awareness is unique, saying it appears as nine is self-contradictory. Because the realm and wisdom are non-dual, appearing as nine violates the vow. Also, the wisdom of the nine bodies, has it been experienced or not experienced? If not experienced, how does one know it is nine bodies? If experienced, then the vow of non-duality is violated. Thus it is said. Saying the nature of mind is unborn, and saying appearance and essence are non-dual, the nature of mind is said to be self-liberated. The mind is unborn, if not experienced, how does one know it? If experienced, then the experiencer is the mind, so the vow of unborn is violated. If one says appearance is unceasing, one's own

Words can make it clear. If the essence is said to be non-dual, Have you experienced non-duality or not? Who knows non-duality if not experienced? If experienced, the vow is broken. If the essence is said to be wisdom liberation, Is it unborn liberation or born liberation? If unborn liberation, then there is the fault of being born, If born liberation, the vow is broken. With the fearless one, know the four truths, Understand the four heights of the noble ones. The four aspects of the great pillar of Madhyamaka, Saying it is pure from the beginning, Is it pure after realization or pure without realization? Who knows purity without realization? Realization is the path, the vow is broken. Saying it is spontaneously accomplished, Is Buddhahood accomplished or not accomplished? If wisdom needs to be accomplished, it contradicts itself. The unfixed result becomes inverted, If unchanging, one's own vow is broken. Ignorance is not knowing, without time limit, Then constant hearing and contemplation become meaningless. In an instant, suddenly, impermanent, compounded, It becomes a fault of being unnecessary. These are called the four pillars of Madhyamaka. The symbol of fear is one-sided, Spreading the rope is the vow. The fence of what is grasped is one's own doctrine, The opponent in debate is another's doctrine. The wisdom to cut off the enemy, Performing the feast of killing the father. Flesh, bones, blood, and gatherings are offered as food, The skin is stretched to the edge of the sky. The head is pounded between the pestle and mortar, The four limbs are broken and used as firewood. Taking the heart and liver, placing them in the mouth, Performing the feast of inner offering. The body and skull are all severed, The eyes, sun, and moon are hung on the white snow peak. The appearance of the three realms is placed on the peak, The nose is placed in the river's course. The tongue is spread on the red rock, The lower gate is entrusted to the wind. Thus it is said. From the Great Red Awakening View, the fifteenth chapter, indicating the key points of cutting through views. This great cutting through of views, A lineage like a precious jewel. This great king of lineages, Entrusted to the Sambhogakaya Samantabhadra and others. Thus it is said. The heart-home of the king of lineages' view, To us and our retinue, With compassion, grant your approval and rejoice. May we hold it well. Thus it is said. The sixteenth chapter, rejoicing in the entrustment of the lineage. Complete. What is heard is also sound, image, and meaning, likewise, what is spoken and uttered is also mantra.
