Who exists? Beings perish in samsara, liberation alone is emptiness. The apprehended part and the apprehending part, or which is half a part? That which is extremely profound, the nature of emptiness is not other. What is non-existent similar to? Or what is existent similar to? On the nature of emptiness which is of one essence, to distinguish two is shameful. The apprehending part of self-awareness itself, if it is indeed valid cognition, then non-self-awareness is valid cognition. Which do you have certainty about? Is it that consciousness or the other? Thus, when contemplating in this way, therefore here there is contradiction, like a sharp sword cutting itself. If it is done by another, then it becomes the fault of harming self-awareness. That is also done by another in the same way, thus it becomes the fault of endlessness. Because of becoming two faults, the apprehending part is not knowledgeable. The apprehended part is like half existing and half not existing, this is the speech of children. The tenets of non-reason, those who establish tenets abide in this way. Therefore, is the apprehended existent or non-existent? Is the apprehending also existent or non-existent? The sole wisdom is of great self-nature, in this direction it frolics. Inconceivable great wisdom, to have faith enter into that one, what does the wise one prevent? Or what does he definitely establish? Therefore, this inverted view, if you wish to see it as good, this pride of false and non-false, all are equal to emptiness. From the great tantra called the Origin of Life, the second chapter called Eliminating the Rhinoceros Vehicle. Then, the correct explanation should be spoken, by what is the tenet of the mind-only nature eliminated, so that the correct nature itself will become clear. External objects do not exist, as children imagine, the mind disturbed by habits, appears as objects and engages in them. It does not act as an external other object, the action is the mind itself, because the object is common, and because the intellect eliminates it. For those who desire to renounce, on the corpse of a woman, thinking of it as a corpse, a playmate, and food, three kinds of discriminations arise. Whatever and whatever appears, that is said to be self-awareness alone. Because the appearances are not different, that which is not an object is not consciousness. Whatever is the appearance of form, that is the appearance of consciousness, the intellect is

Like a bird's egg, One also becomes many. Therefore, that is liberation, That is merely consciousness. The true end is also that, That is suchness, that is emptiness. Because all dharmas are contained within, It is neither far nor anywhere. In order to realize that difficulty, That's nature is conduct. By the Buddha who sees subtly, That is subtle, therefore it is self-awareness. With a coarse mind like mine, Even one's own place cannot be seen. Thus, various consciousnesses, Who is the speaker with great wisdom? Skilled in proclaiming one's own tenets, To him, that truth should be explained. This is the saying that everything is only mind, For the benefit of the Shravakas, It is taught as a guiding meaning, It is not the definitive meaning. The mind is the nature of the past and future, The nature of self-awareness in an instant. With the combination of not abiding and abiding, There is no self-nature similar to it. The previous moment is destroyed, Since they do not meet, there is no later. The present arising does not remain, Therefore, the mind-only does not exist. With common and common nature, Since the mind truly abides, It is called uncommon nature, Children mistakenly establish. The nature of realization is, The common nature of the mind. With difference and without distinction, It abides in commonality. Appearance or non-appearance, That is only the mind itself. With the nature of meaningful and meaningless, It appears like the sky. Pillars, houses, and vases, etc., How does only the sky pervade? Likewise, in all dharmas, The Dharmakaya abides pervasively. External objects do not exist, The mind is the appearance of objects. Thus, small wisdom is, That which is realized by wisdom is not spoken. Pervasive, vast, pure, and, Without beginning and indescribable. The wisdom of all self-nature is, It should be known as the great sky. Therefore, those on the same side, Those who speak excellently of mind-only, The realm of the sky is the great mind, They are the place of compassion. From the great tantra called "The Origin of Life," the chapter called "Eliminating the Yogachara Doctrine," is the third. Then there is something else to be explained, The stages of the Bodhisattva path, How to abandon one's own doctrine, And enter the vast sky? All things
