Without a mother, what should one meditate on? Those who wish to meditate, if they do not understand this meaning, will fall from emptiness. An upright person who wishes to meditate should not examine external objects. To aim at a state without meditation is like chasing a mirage. What is there to meditate on in this all-encompassing, vast emptiness nature? To fall from this is like a bubble in water, it does not exist. In this essence that has been abandoned, what should one meditate on? What should an upright person aim at? The object of aim is like dust and Mount Sumeru, it is the great storm of realization. Like a scale and a balance rod, one should enter the path of uprightness. The nobility of an upright person is the path of the mind, it is the Buddha himself. What is that? It is the purity of mind itself, that is it. Thus, all things are pervasive, thus, pervasiveness is also empty. That is neither noble, nor Buddha, nor Bodhi. Conquerors and so on, subtle parts, deliverance and so on. This Dharmakaya is the body of all, appearing and not appearing in all. If you desire Bodhi, then greatly engage in sinful deeds, and place faith in the wisdom of the master. If killing a lifeless being is a sin, then who is to blame for the initial cutting off? If there is no compassion, there is no one, where is the master? There is none. Compassion does not moisten Bodhi, who does compassion hold onto? If there is someone to hold onto, then even if there is a superior intention, one should understand. The walls of attachment collapse from the foundation, it is the trace of Bodhi bliss. One who does not respect the conquerors, does not practice the Buddha, and does not desire the path of liberation. Like a magnet attracting iron, one does not need to accumulate two accumulations to gather. Thus, this meaning is not like a parrot speaking human language. If this meaning arises in someone's mind, then for that person, in Indian language: Haridaya Odaya Mahatantra Raja Mahanama Heart-born Great Tantra King Great Name). In Tibetan: Called the Great King of the Lineage of the Origin of Life. Homage to glorious Vajrasattva. At one time when I spoke these words, the Bhagavan, the Origin of Life, in the great sky, was dwelling together with ninety-nine billion Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Then, the great Bodhisattva Samantabhadra arose from his seat, draped his upper garment over his shoulder, joined his palms towards the Bhagavan, prostrated to the Bhagavan, made offerings, and asked thus. Bhagavan
