Sa! From the Tantra of Cutting Off the Beginning and End of Samsara: The Chapter on the Mandala of Bodhisattvas, the Nineteenth. Then, Vajrasattva asked the Teacher Samantabhadra, "Since the method of drawing the mandala is like this, what is its definition?" After he asked this, Samantabhadra replied, "Listen, all of you attendants, without distraction and with reverence. Regarding the extensive explanation of the definition, that mandala of all emptiness, limits, and purity is said to abide in the Dharma-nature Bodhichitta. Mandala, mandala, the so-called mandala, the mandala of the body is authentic, abiding in the Dharma-nature Bodhichitta. The mandala of speech is authentic, abiding in the Dharma-nature Bodhichitta. The mandala of mind is authentic, abiding in the Dharma-nature Bodhichitta. Mandala refers to the Dharmakaya, which is unchanging, surrounded by the wheel of unceasing wisdom. Therefore, it is called a mandala. All mandalas are complete in the mind. The meaning of completion is like this: Mandala refers to that which is without error. That mandala, without error and without fabrication, is complete in the unborn state of mind itself. Mandala refers to the meaning of essence. Wheel refers to appearances that are inconceivable. That inconceivable essence is complete in the non-dual mind itself. Mandala refers to that which is without change. Wheel refers to the meaning of that which is unfabricated. Unchanging and unfabricated, it is complete in the mind. Mandala refers to the Dharma-nature, which is unborn. Wheel refers to the mind itself, which is unceasing. It is the mandala of unborn and unceasing. Appearances and existence, unfabricated, are the mandala. Without discrimination, it is the wheel. Non-dual and unfabricated, it is the mandala. That which does not revolve is the mandala. Vast and pervasive, it is the wheel. Unchanging and pervasive, it is the mandala. Mandala refers to the great non-duality. Wheel refers to that which is uncountable. Uncountable and non-dual, it is the mandala. The mandala of the unchanging realm of space, its great definition has been extensively explained." Thus he spoke. Appearances and existence, union, nectar, essence, drops. From the Tantra of Cutting Off the Beginning and End of Samsara: The Chapter Showing the Definition of the Mandala, the Twentieth. Then, Vajrasattva asked the Teacher Samantabhadra, "The method of determining the number of deities in the mandala, please explain it to the assembled retinue." After he asked this, Samantabhadra remained in the Samadhi of light pervading everywhere.
