Having perfected the twelve deeds of benefiting beings, Subduing all beings through compassionate emanations, And again, possessing wisdom, without even a speck of arrogance, Because there is no grasping at self and other. From the beginning, non-dual, the one is the Dharmakaya. Conduct in harmony, like an ocean, With great compassion, he perfects the benefit of beings. Although not moving from the realm of self-arisen wisdom, The glorious protector of beings, Samantabhadra, Because there is no accepting or rejecting of self and other, Conducts various actions like an ocean, as is comfortable. The cause of the lotus's birth is mud, But the lotus is not stained by mud. If one realizes that the nature of reality has no accepting or rejecting, Then uncontrived wisdom will not diminish even a speck. Not meditating in sessions, but in continuous yoga, Because there is no conduct of binding and liberation, there is no fault. From the Tantra of the Great Perfection, the View of Profound Wisdom, the chapter on showing conduct without binding and liberation, the thirteenth. Then, the all-knowing teacher, Dharma Lord, spoke: Gathered assembly, listen now with your minds. In the groundless Dharmakaya, the Great Perfection of Wisdom, Nothing goes, the supreme ground is universally bound. The mind itself, without going, is the supreme path of wisdom, The wisdom Dharmakaya, the ultimate ground of reality. Bodhisattva Vajra Essence, listen now. The ground is the first, not reverting to samsara, The essence, supreme enlightenment, is, it is said. Where is the place to eat and travel? If one thoroughly understands the unborn, perfect state, Then one transcends the place of eating on the path and purifying the ground. Showing the meaning of the path of the essence without going, It is not found by searching elsewhere, Because the great wisdom pervades everywhere, Self-arisen from the beginning, self-aware, clear light, The meaning of the essence is that there is no ground or path to search for. Vairochana, the great supreme Samantabhadra, Listen also, Bodhisattva Vajra Essence. Just as a king does not go elsewhere, One's own mind does not move to objects, but abides in meaning. Just that is the realm of bliss of the Dharmakaya. Without going on the path, the nature of reality is the wisdom body. Going on the ground and path is an obstacle to enlightenment. From the Tantra of the Great Perfection, the View of Profound Wisdom, the chapter on not purifying the ground, the fourteenth. Then, to the assembly gathered with faith, the all-knowing teacher, Dharma Lord, spoke: Keeping vows,

The wisdom of definitive meaning is, unlike the lower ones, not bound by vows. Because there is no degeneration, it is the original great protection. The vow of confident view should be constantly remembered. Not intentionally, but naturally, the meaning becomes clear. It is the vow view of the original great protection. Listen with your mind, all you assembled retinue from the beginning. How many differences in tenets are proclaimed, as well as the vows of discipline, both outer and inner. Teach beings to be tamed according to their desires. Although beings to be tamed are spoken of merely in name, there is not even a particle to be bound by vows. If you realize the meaning of non-vow in its own state, even if you make vows, there is no fault, like the sky. Listen, essence of the assembly, Vajrasattva. The vow of the unchanging mind of the Dharmakaya is: to act without acceptance or rejection is the great vow. Do not abandon your own mind, abide in great wisdom. The ultimate meaning of the three times is inseparable, without degeneration. From the Tantra of the Great Perfection View, the Profound Wisdom, the fifteenth chapter, which teaches the protection of vows without degeneration, is complete. Then, he spoke to the assembled retinue: If you meditate, it becomes a place of error, because of delusion. If you do not realize your own mind, you are striving. By striving for external objects, you gather the mind. For the views of the lower ones, the four kinds of desires, those who do not accept non-duality, appearance and emptiness, each measuring with discriminating awareness, meditating on the meaning of clear and empty equipoise. For the individuals who meditate on the six, dullness and agitation, all of them, are guarded by mindfulness. If you do not know that view, it is ignorance. Those who do not think about clarity, those who meditate on desire. Those who do not think about bliss, those who have the pride of attachment. With the anger of fearing samsara and falling, they meditate by focusing on the unthinkable meaning. Even if you meditate with effort, because there is no change in the object, because you want non-thought, you are clearly separated from the meaning. Whatever good or bad thoughts arise, in the nature of mind, negate them. Grasping with the mind only as causeless, deliberately meditating on clear bliss without focus is wrong. What need is there to say, since the logic for the object has been destroyed? Furthermore, listen with your mind, essence of the assembly. Just as shadows are transformed into objects, those who meditate on the deity and the root bindu methods, because the characteristics and objects are the object of focus, therefore the meditator, because he makes those in the mind, is mistaken. Because they cannot overcome conditions, they are not the Dharmakaya of reality.
