The oath of non-existence is not transgressed, In the wisdom of awareness free from bias, There is no guarding of 'this' and 'that'. That great being free from bias, By being free from one side, is free from all sides, Self-awareness is clear like the edge of the sky. The great expanse of wisdom free from bias, The great sky of self-awareness, clear light, By looking at a direction, it is not seen. In the self-clear nature of reality without bias, The wisdom of awareness without bias enters. In the equality of effortless wisdom, The state of suchness is without effort. Though all-pervasive like the edge of the sky, The nature of awareness is self-clear and one. Wisdom free from thought is perfected in itself, The great transcendence is unsurpassed. Whatever appears, whatever exists, without exception, Is clear in the one wisdom of awareness. The one transcends the realm of thought and judgment, It is completely without one or many. In the single wisdom of awareness, It is clear as a dharma without beginning or end. It abides in place of the one wisdom, The ocean of wisdom is without limit. Self-clarity, other-clarity, all is clear, The all-clear awareness has no circumference. In the supreme wheel of Samantabhadra, One and two cannot be counted. From the beginning, awareness abides as it is, The expanse of words is like an ocean. However it is divided, there is nothing but one, From one bindu, the number of vows. In suchness, they are known separately, The sutra of self-awareness with skillful means of taming. The wheel of supreme awareness turns, Listen to the meaning of self-clear, inexpressible. Understand with the meaning without distraction, That very nature, the basis of mind, is ninefold. The sutra of light, the blazing jewel, Experience it with effortless bliss. Obtain the oath of self-clear oneness, In the self-arisen, spontaneously accomplished oath, Because the treasure of countless fruits is complete, Effortless, spontaneous, primordially enlightened. Like the ground of blazing jewels, Samsara is clear as the essence of wisdom. Like the jewel on the crown of Indra, Without thought, it is spontaneously perfect from the beginning. Like the light of the sun's essence, It is clear at once, without sequence. In the mirror of the spontaneously perfect teaching, Whatever appears as the awareness of signs, By the wisdom without partiality, The very wisdom of spontaneous self-clarity. In the spontaneously accomplished wisdom of whatever appears, Where is there anything to be abandoned? In the spontaneously accomplished self-clear wisdom, If the all-knowing awareness does not arise, What is the benefit of hearing, thinking, and meditating, If there is no difference between sentient beings and Buddhas? Nothing is seen.
