I, the supreme of self-illuminating mind, appear in the play of wondrous mind, like the blazing of the sun's rays, from the effortless, natural awareness, effortless compassion pervades and illuminates. Abiding in all, devoid of focus. The glorious light pervading the sky, naturally dawns upon all beings. The expanse of clear light, the boundary of the sky, the world dawns clearly at once. Although samsara is self-aware and self-illuminating, it is not clear to the wisdom awareness, therefore, the light of the wisdom sun also sets, contradicting the meaning of self-illuminating awareness. Although following the sound of natural sound, if it does not become its essence, then it is separated from the clear wisdom itself. The knot of bondage is like iron, one drives a great nail into oneself. Transformed into the confidence of non-conceptual clarity, entering the treasure of the supreme self-illumination within the expanse, there is no adornment by conceptual signs, ripening in the expanse of the unchanging vajra. In the mandala of the inexpressible mind, if not indicated by the meaning of the key instruction, then the meaning of self-illuminating awareness is not seen, like the secret treasure house and the illuminator, if certainty is found, words are not needed. In the wheel of natural secrets, after jointly combining with wisdom awareness, like a jewel-burning island, it blazes in the wisdom mandala itself. All is clear in the wisdom mandala, in the unobstructed natural gate, entering through the means of effortless awareness, in the invisible, unfocused mandala, abiding with an unwavering mind. Since whatever appears is self-illuminating awareness, cutting off the darkness of obscuration, from the great ease of primordial Buddhahood, what is the use of effort with cause and condition? The characteristic of the essence of wisdom is, pervasive and clear, yet without inherent existence. In the mirror of the clear appearance of existence, although clear, there is no sign of awareness. Not entering, not looking, not doing anything, knowing, remaining naturally without fabrication. There is no arising sensation of thought-free focus. Thus it is said. From the great tantra equal to the edge of space, the eleventh chapter, seeing the self-illuminating wisdom. Then the bodhisattva Vajra himself asked this. Of all the Buddhas of the three times, holding the secrets of body, speech, and mind, the treasure of equality awareness free from elaboration, the non-dual self-illuminating Bhagavan, protector, I pray to you, in the yoga practitioner's path of freedom and completion, although there is no concept of duality, the difference in conduct

Please listen! Thus requested. Then, the Tathagata Vajrasattva spoke as follows: O great Bodhisattva! In the non-dual, self-arisen wisdom, Although the concept of duality does not enter, Yet, to demonstrate the entrance through the door of skillful means, The conduct shall be explained in various ways. Following the expanse of space, Possessing skillful means without cessation, it is that very nature. The blessings of compassion spread, Qualities equal to the limit of space. In all self-luminous, unconditioned, There is no stain of conceptual grasping. Not arising, not ceasing, free from objects, Clear, yet without conceptual grasping. In the conduct of the Vajra of space, Without conceptual thought, what should you contemplate? In the thought of not seeking, self-abiding, From the beginning, there is no stain of grasping. In the pure, clear wisdom, Not in any place, yet universally clear. The nature, clear light, the realm of bliss, Grasping does not enter, the realm is not sought. Self-luminous awareness plants itself, Unmoving, unthinking, how does it abide? In the unobstructed mirror of skillful means, Without partiality, how does it clearly see? Space cannot be grasped, free from thought, Without object, without reliance, the mind does not enter. Not abiding in objects, not consciousness, Neither of the two, free from elaboration. Grasping does not enter, there is no dualistic grasping. In the essence of secret wisdom, There are no signs, it is the self-luminous realm. Appearance, wisdom, self-luminous, Without negation or affirmation, it is one's own realm. If not abiding in self-luminous light, Even if practicing the conduct of signs, Yet, on the result of relying on one's own ground, Without seeking, self-luminous, free from great bliss. The path of unbound, complete awareness, Cannot be traversed, it is the primordial Buddha. In the wisdom without partiality, Free from the extremes of non-duality and oneness. In the union of clear light and great bliss, There is no grasping of two or one. In the Vajra of space, free from extremes, Immutable wisdom, its nature clear. In the yoga of as-it-is awareness, There is no yoga with effort. Awareness enters the central channel, the state of bliss, How clear, effortless, the supreme of awareness. No arising, no ceasing, clear in the realm. Through the mirror of the lineage's skillful means, Symbolizing the meaning of self-luminosity, Therefore, it is said to be non-dual wisdom, It is not self-luminous, nor other-luminous. In the manifest, self-luminous wisdom, Desiring to rely on the permanence of an image, It is like finding an elephant and then seeking its tracks. In the state of non-duality, grasping as two.
