In all the lands. In order to show that there are no ghosts on the ground, the omniscient teacher Dharma Lord (referring to Kunrig Gyaltsen) proclaimed the refutation of the existence of ghosts. In a place where there are no gods or ghosts on the ground, the Tirthika beings hold it as real, so it is necessary to refute the existence of ghosts. I will explain, listen carefully. Now also listen to Vajrasattva. If the conceptualization of objects is not exhausted, then the obstacles of harm will not be exhausted. Even eighty thousand kinds of obstacles, there is nothing on the ground. The monk Uli who breaks the precepts, cultivates the gods of Tirthika's wrong views, the followers of the Kashmir (ancient place name) Vaibhashika school, chatter incessantly and speak incoherently. The blessings of the devil suddenly descend, holding the non-existent god as the existent god, and the ghosts cause harm. The diseases of the imbalance of the four elements, and the three hundred and sixty kinds of evil spirits caused it. He also lied, but ignorant beings thought it was true, performing divination rituals, causing the decline of good merits. Offering to ghosts and gods, on the contrary, makes the power of the devil even stronger. Saying that there are ghosts in the four elements, the common obstacles of the world harm human beings. Saying that people become ghosts after death and cause harm, if you do back offerings, the ghost will be detected, and diseases and disasters will come again. Now also listen to the essence of the gathering. The common great obstacles of the world exist in those who abandon sentient beings. Because there are no ghosts in the Buddha's teachings, the Dharma and the Pudgala are both free from self. Therefore, because there is no appearance, the common of the world Ghosts do not exist on the ground. Saying there are ghosts is a wrong view. In the Great Perfection, the collection of all meanings, in the Tantra equal to the wisdom sky, the chapter showing that there are no ghosts on the ground, the one hundred and nineteenth chapter. After that, to the assembled retinue, the omniscient Dharma King, proclaimed the refutation of ghosts. If the world is destroyed, then ghosts will not exist. Attachment arises in the realm of the completely conceptualized ignorance, if there is no ignorance, then ghosts will not exist. Ghosts are merely names established out of thin air. If ghosts and demons are transformed from humans, if embodied beings are harmed, then they should not be dead. The emptiness without a body cannot harm. Therefore, ghost harm is purely false. The teachings of the gods, all people are deceived by lies. If the life of ordinary karma is exhausted, then whether or not divination rituals are performed, they will die. Conditions cannot be stopped, so everything will die. Now also listen to the essence of the gathering. Therefore, all gods and ghosts do not exist, but are conjectured by confused minds. If one refutes the theory of no ghosts with realization, in the Dharma of samsara and nirvana, gods and ghosts

The name of 'demon' is unknown. All are the body of a single bindu. Just as knowing poison can be used to make medicine, knowing demons is knowing the realm of wisdom. Because there is no affirmation or negation, all demons are empty. Like the sky, it cannot be obstructed by conditions. Now listen to Vajrasattva. In the essence of true meaning, there are no gods or demons, therefore it is the body of wisdom. In the realm of self-arising without conceptualization, for the sake of realizing the definitive meaning instructions, there are no deceptive errors of the Dharma. Recite in the wisdom without demons. The Great Perfection, the collection of all definitive meanings, from the tantra of 'Wisdom Equal to Space,' teaching the refutation of demons, revealing the chapter on the conduct of self-arising wisdom, the one hundred and twentieth. Then, the All-Knowing Teacher gave the instruction to recite in wisdom. Because cause and effect are of one taste, there is no separation in sequence, the essence is one. Do not seek the Buddha outside, the Buddha resides within. Therefore, cause and effect are inseparable. Now listen to the essence of the collection. Because the root of samsara and nirvana is one, by recognizing the self-nature body, for the sake of teaching the attainment of liberation, realize the Dharmakaya in the absence of samsara and nirvana. All phenomena of outer and inner, in the Dharmadhatu of non-arising and non-ceasing, because there is no change in the three times, do not abandon the outer and inner, it is inherently so. Now listen to Vajrasattva. Sentient beings born from ignorance and the Buddhas born from wisdom, with the possession of definitive scriptures, are of one taste in Dharmakaya. The great recitation in non-seeking, the Dharma of happiness and suffering, samsara and nirvana, because there is no duality of realization and non-realization, there is no mind of object and grasping, therefore, without seeking, wisdom naturally abides. Now listen to the essence of the collection. Because there is no purity or impurity on the ground, all that is created by the mind is mistaken. Unmade and uncorrected, self-awareness is experienced. In recitation, do not make distinctions of good and bad. Now listen to the essence of the collection. All high and low, big and small, for those with instructions, there is no big or small. In the self-abiding of wisdom, realize that there is no high or low. Because self-arising has no birth or death, the three times are one in the body of wisdom. Number and lifespan cannot be counted. Therefore, it is unchanging wisdom. Now listen to the essence of the collection. If reciting in the self-arising of wisdom, whatever appears and is remembered, in the nature of reality, because not seeking, wisdom naturally abides, recite in that which does not need to be meditated upon. The Great Perfection, the collection of all definitive meanings
