Furthermore, offered the precious Ketaki fruit. Regarding this, asked about the definitive meaning: In the very nature of one's own mind, in the ground that has no beginning or end, how do the beginning and end of samsara and nirvana arise? Having heard the meaning of this question, that Buddha, the rays of the sun, was pleased with the precious Ketaki, and in response to the question, declared: The ground itself is unchanging in the three times, because the mind does not want to make alterations. From the difference between wisdom and ignorance, the beginning and end of samsara and nirvana arise. Having spoken thus, the doubt about whether there is a beginning and end is dispelled. Because of asking, realization is attained. Therefore, the fruit is manifested. Now again, listen to the essence of the gathering. In a realm without center or edge, that Buddha, Essence of Space, to the assembly of faithful listeners, teaches the fruits of Dharma that are not to be sought. Having circumambulated him, with complete and ultimate faith, as a basis for asking the definitive meaning, offered an Utpala flower. Regarding this, asked about the definitive meaning: In the essence of self-nature purity, in the ground where there is no appearance, how does sudden delusion arise? As soon as this was asked, that Buddha, Essence of Space, was pleased with the Utpala, and in response to the question, declared: The ground is without appearance, like space. Due to ignorance as a condition, grasping and fixation arise. Because of the delusion of one's own appearance as other, habitual patterns of appearance arise like clouds. Having spoken thus, the doubt about whether there is appearance or not is dispelled. Because of asking, realization is attained. Therefore, the fruit is manifested. Now again, listen to the essence of the gathering. In a realm where qualities are abundant, that Buddha named Billion Eyes, to the assembly of faithful listeners, teaches the fruits of Dharma that are not to be sought. Having circumambulated him, with complete and unwavering faith, as a basis for asking the definitive meaning, offered a golden lotus flower. Regarding this, asked about the definitive meaning: With the continuous samadhi that is inseparable, in the awareness that has no inside or outside, how do equipoise and post-equipoise arise? Having heard the meaning of this question, that Buddha, Billion Eyes, dwelling there, was pleased with the golden lotus, and in response to the question, declared: In this very wisdom awareness, there is no equipoise or post-equipoise from the beginning. For meditators without this definitive meaning, post-equipoise arises in the objects of the five senses. Thus said
