Now listen again, Vajrasattva. The bardo transforms into taking three bodies, ultimately taking the body of a bad state. Initially, that self-arisen consciousness, when entering the body due to male and female causes, at the time when the wind stirs slightly, a slight arising of near-taking action occurs. With a bit of warmth, fire arises, and when consciousness generates male and female, with a bit of moisture, water arises, and the near-taking sensation is remembered. Because of the soft and mushy, solidity forms, and due to ignorance, the inner is the all-pervading flow, from which the five sense consciousnesses arise by force. Because of entering the womb and being born coarsely, when the four elements mature, because of arising from the norm, conceptualization occurs, and bad thoughts enter the appearance of the norm. Parents cherish bad thoughts and cling to them, viewing the eight worldly concerns as supreme, and with both manifest continuum and habitual tendencies complete, the four conditions being complete, it ripens into samsara. Now listen again to the essence of accumulation. In the bardo between birth and death, a faithful one who desires liberation, because of the completeness of karma and compassion, with the definitive instructions of a lineage holder, to a lama who holds the definitive lineage, in order to introduce this definitive meaning tantra, without attachment in order to request instructions, without regard for body, life, and possessions, if one pleases the lama, then all those with instructions will realize their own mind. Now listen again to the essence of accumulation. The bardo of neither dying nor being born, at the time of taking this body now, if one encounters this definitive meaning dharma, then with this birth, Buddhahood will be accomplished. The Great Perfection, the definitive meaning of all accumulations, from the tantra of wisdom equal to space, the chapter on showing the bardo of birth and death, the sixty-sixth, is complete. Then, Kunrig Chöje spoke to the assembled gathering: In the bardo between object and mind, in order to cut off external deviations, no matter how the appearance of objects appears, do not block the appearance but block attachment. Therefore, non-attachment is the dharmadhatu. Now listen again to the essence of accumulation. Because there is no rejection or acceptance, no matter what appears, because it is free from all bases of negation and affirmation, even if the senses are left to their own devices, because there is no exaggeration or denigration, it is the natural state.

There is no error. Although existing in illusion, it does not cling to meaning. Now listen again to Vajrasattva. The conceptual thought between object and mind, Even if left to its own, it will not be distracted. With the definitive instructions of a lineage holder, There is no need to err, in order to cut off the wrong path. Self-aware consciousness is always precious, Just that alone grasps the point. Higher seeing is inseparable, wisdom is clear. In the appearance free from refutation, Without clinging to consciousness, naturally clear, It is called the perfection of Dharmakaya Dharmadhatu. Now listen again to Vajrasattva. Now, in the bardo between object and mind, The self-aware king, wisdom dances. Without holding onto concepts, awareness arises, Just that alone clarifies the Dharmakaya. Now, in this very moment, there is knowledge without object, It is not a cessation of nothingness, Because the name of fabrication is non-thought, Therefore, it is free from clinging and elaboration. Although the objects of the eight vehicles are the basis, Yet in the innermost depths, while this object exists, At that time, there is fabrication that goes astray. Therefore, if one realizes the knowledge of absolute non-existence, Then appearances are purified, and the wrong path is cut off. Now listen again to Vajrasattva. These instructions in brief, The object is the increase of habitual tendencies of illusion, The mind is ignorance flowing in the mind, Between the two, self-awareness abides. That, with the instructions of a lineage holder, By knowing the definitive meaning, object and mind are lost. Therefore, the Dharmakaya is without birth or death. Realizing that meaning, cut off the wrong path. That is in accordance with the nature of reality, the ground. Therefore, the Dharmakaya is without error. In that, there is not a speck to be found. The Great Perfection gathers all definitive meanings, from the tantra of wisdom equal to space, the fifty-seventh chapter, which explains the bardo of object and mind. Then, to the assembled gathering, The all-knowing teacher, the Dharma Raja, Spoke the bardo of meditation. Those with wisdom contemplate the bardo: The great essence of discerning observation, With constant, unforgetting, and inseparable, The yogi of definitive awareness, Arises the instructions of equipoise and post-equipoise. At the time of the womb bardo, With the instructions of awareness wisdom, Relying on the inner mind, Dissolves into the expanse of equality wisdom. Now listen again to the essence of the gathering. At the time of Buddha and sentient beings, Not either of the two times, That meaning, the lineage holder's samaya, With the single clear instruction, Discerning the three times is certain. The Dharmakaya bindu manifests enlightenment. Now listen again to the essence of the gathering.
