It transforms perfectly like a nihilistic view. The Dharmakaya is free from both existence and non-existence. A nihilistic view is the emptiness of utter annihilation. From the Tantra of the Great Perfection, the Wheel of Spontaneous Bliss Wherein the Meanings Converge: The Seventh Chapter, which teaches where the first, present, and last Alaya goes. Then, to the assembled gathering, The all-knowing teacher spoke: Characteristics, causes, conditions, and examples. First, the characteristic of the Alaya is: It does not transform into things, it is eternally non-existent, The consciousness of the three times is a momentary stream, Because it abides without cessation. The Alaya is the nature of the mind of enlightenment. In the Dharmakaya, free from all elaborations, Self-existing nature is conceptual thought, It is free from permanence and momentariness, The sphere of the three times without change. The characteristic of the Alaya is accumulation, Ignorance and wrong views, The imprints are fully developed. If it is not accumulated, it does not change, It abides firmly and changes in the three times, Because it is made by the essence of wisdom. Listen also, Vajrasattva! The Alaya without a basis, Does not arise from numerical causes. The cause of the arising of the Alaya consciousness, The three realms, nirvana, and, The dharmas gathered in the inner and outer three times, All are of the same nature of equality, The spontaneously accomplished body of self-existence, Great bliss pervades everywhere. If that nature, the Alaya, is not realized, It is called the cause because it abides from the beginning. Listen also to the essence of the gathering! In the unborn sphere of the Alaya, What is not born is self-existence, The unelaborated, all-pervading sphere, How can it be made by conditions? In the absence of the cause and condition of clarity, The antidote to the Alaya is wisdom, Because it will be destroyed, it is produced by conditions. The condition is in the Dharmadhatu, the Dharmakaya, Although there is no difference, it appears as such, Although the Dharmadhatu is one, the Alaya is the condition, The Dharmakaya has no realization or non-realization, It abides pervading all from the beginning. The nature of reality has no appearance or non-appearance, Although the Dharmadhatu has merged into the Dharmakaya, It appears as if it has not merged and is different. From that condition, conceptual thought arises, Therefore, whatever is the condition of conceptual thought, The power of conceptual thought increases and transforms into the Alaya. Because the nature of reality is the condition of the Dharmakaya, The causes and conditions are not the same and there is a difference. All that is established and spoken, Is a miracle of the unborn, Self-existence is equal

If we say "one," everything is naturally one in its essence. It is primordially free from elaboration, beyond expression. There is no basis for debate, not even the ālaya itself. Saṃsāra and nirvāṇa are beyond expression. Therefore, they are not the same. Appearing distinctly, listen, Vajrasattva. There is not a particle to be grasped as an entity. Its unelaborated essence pervades everything. The nature of consciousness is just like that. The example of the ālaya is like the sky. Likewise, in the ālaya consciousness, however the seven aggregates arise and cease, even if the seven aggregates arise, there is no change in the very nature of ālaya wisdom. The nature of ālaya wisdom is momentary, not abiding, but flowing. It is like the course of four rivers. It does not stay for a moment, and the stream does not cease. Outer and inner saṃsāra and nirvāṇa, all become the nature of the ālaya. Because it causes anything to arise, therefore the ālaya is like the earth. Although it does not obstruct itself, it is not manifest due to other conditions. Like the sun, moon, planets, and stars rising at the same time, the subtle and coarse aspects of light are similar. The ālaya is the realm of naturally pure essence. It is primordially like white silk, but conceptual thoughts suddenly adhere to it like oil. The state of being mixed inseparably is like white silk adhering to oil. The ālaya is the perfectly pure realm of dharma. It is primordially the self-arisen dharmakāya. Like clear water, it is adulterated by the soil of habitual tendencies and conceptual thoughts. Even the primordially self-arisen great perfection cannot benefit either self or others. It is like water and soil mixing together. Although it is spontaneously accomplished without searching, it appears to be nonexistent because it is obscured by conceptual thoughts. It is like the sun obscured by clouds. Reality itself is like poison and alcohol. Primordially, it is the antidote that kills, but just as there is no liberation when alcohol is the condition, the nature of ignorant saṃsāra, with habitual saṃsāra as the condition, turns the wheel of the three realms of saṃsāra. It becomes the ālaya of inescapable saṃsāra. The example is like poison and alcohol mixed together. The meaning of the ālaya's consciousness, although it is different from all others, all the Buddha's words are without flaws that can be refuted, and the false words of other vehicles do not change. Because it refutes the contradictions of the tirthikas, because they do not understand the characteristics of the vehicles, clinging to the four extremes of permanence and annihilation, with the arrogance of ignorant delusion, they say that their own view is correct, and denigrate the views of others. This and the meaning of Atiyoga are not the same.
